_____

Six months since I've seen the triplets. I've been completely heartbroken since our argument, but I did it to myself. They weren't in the wrong, I was.

Honestly, I'm somewhat getting over it. I'm living in my own apartment now, I have a sturdy job at Starbucks, and I'm stable. That's all I need for a decent life style.

_____

"(Y/n)! You're on waitress today!" My boss calls out to me, hurrying to his office.

"I'm supposed to be at drive-thru though?" I question, and he looks at me shrugging his shoulders.

"Misty!" He calls out to my friend-co-worker, "take over drive-thru today. (Y/n) will take on waitress."

I hear a disappointed sigh from Misty, followed by a "yes sir."

"Sorry, Misty." I give her an apologetic smile.

"Don't worry about it," she shakes her head, "he really can be a pain in the ass, yeah?" She chuckles.

"Deeefinitely." I stretch out my words and laugh along with her.

"Take my apron, I won't be needed this one today. I'll go get your's from the back." She shoots me a smile while handing me the black stained apron, "good luck, (Y/n/n)."

"Good luck, indeed." I mumble to myself, tying the apron around the back of my neck and my waist.

_____

"Welcome to Starbuck, I'm gonna be your waitress. My name is (Y/n), so if you need anything just give me a c-" I look up from my notepad to see Matt Sturniolo with a sad smile on his face.

"(Y/n)." He gives me a head nod and a smile.

"M-Matt? What the hell are you doing here?" I ask, concerned why he's not screaming at me right now.

"Nick kinda wanted to talk to you, but he didn't have the nerve to face you. Come to our place once you're off, kay?"

I hesitate, why would Nick wanna see me, let alone, talk to me? "Yeah, okay." I smile at the brunette boy and he smiles back.

"By the way, I'll get an iced coffee." He winks.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry!"

_____

"Good day?" Misty asks as we walk outside together, locking up the little cafe.

"Somewhat. Got thirty dollars worth of tips!" I smile excitedly.

"You Nerd. You do a better job at being a waitress than I do." She giggles. I laugh as well, until she speaks up, "so... Matt showed up, yeah?"

I frown, thinking of our conversation. Still confused and a little frustrated. Why would Nick wanna talk to me?

"How'd things go?" She asked me, pushing her bleached blonde hair our from her face.

"Uhm... Nick wants to see me." I sigh.

"Uh oh." Misty places a hand on my shoulder "should I go with you?"

I tense up and smile at her kindness, "I think I'll be okay, thanks though."

"Anytime girl. I'mma head out, see ya tomorrow?"

"Yeah, see ya."

_

After a while of sitting alone after Misty left, I sigh to myself and tug my hair out of frustration. I take a long drag of my cigarette, and I get in my car, driving in the direction of the triplets' house.

_____

I stand in front of the door mentally preparing myself for anything bad that could occur. My heart felt like it'd beat out of my chest when I knocked on the door of the big house.

The door opened to reveal Nick Sturniolo. To my surprise, he didn't look angry, or mad. Hell, he looked almost stressed out.

"(Y/n)... Please, come in." He gives me an awkward smile and gestures me to come inside. I do so. "You can take a seat on the couch if you want."

Nodding my head, I walk into the familiar house, taking every single millisecond in. The nostalgic scent was enough to make my shoulder tense up. I take a seat on the couch with Nick, an awkward silence fills the room.

"I-I heard you were doing better no-now." Nick stumbles over his words, "how's that?"

I sigh, ignoring his question, "Nick. Let's please stop pretending that nothing happened between the two of us six months ago."

He looks off into the room. Quietly I ask, "what did you need me for?"

"I wanted to... apologize."

My face scrunches at his words. Apologize? For what? He did nothing wrong.

My eyes soften, "what for? You did no wrong here. I did."

"I feel horrible for the way I spoke to you. Its been eating at me for months. I've wanted to talk to you about it, but I couldn't bring myself to," he pauses to make sure I'm following along, "I never even gave you a chance to speak. And my curiosity got the best of me, so I asked Connor what had happened that night. He explained that you thought Chris was done with you. And you told me that, but I didn't believe it because I was being stubborn."

His eyes stare directly into mine, "and... Honestly, (Y/n), I miss you. I miss you more than anything I've ever lost. You were my best friend. My second half. My ride or die... I feel like a piece from me is missing when you're not around... " he sighs, "please, forgive me. (Y/n) (L/n)."

My eyes tear up and I nod my head, bringing the boy into a hug. I holds me tight. Tighter than anyone has ever held me. I stop suddenly and push myself away asking, "does Chris know?"

He smiles and was, "yeah. He actually wanted to talk to you as well." Nick pulls out his phone and sends a text to, I'm assuming, Chris, because seconds later Chris rushes downstairs.

We look at each other, guilt written all over my face. He gives me a sympathetic looks and sits beside me. He kinda glares at Nick, and Nick goes upstairs, patting his brother's shoulder as he leaves.

"Hey... Chris." I mumble out his name, tears filling my eyes again as guilt eats at my core.

"I'm still in love with you." Chris blurts, getting a confused look from me.

"What?"

"(Y/n). I love you so fucking much. I'm willing to take you back if you let me."

I must he dreaming. I think to myself.

"Are you sur- I hurt you. I don't deserve you." I cry.

"I need you, Baby. Please..." He holds my hand. He holds my hand the way he used to. When we were in love. Not worried about a thing.

"You have to promise me one thing though." He looks into my eyes.

"Anything."

"If we do end up together once more, and we argue again. Please, don't go fucking anyone else until you know we're officially done." He chuckles humorlessly.

"I promise." I interlock our pinkies. It may sound childish, but pinky promises are important to me. I never ever will break one.

"God, I missed you, Stupid." He pulls me in by the back of my neck gently and kisses my lips. I melt in the kiss, taking in every second.

"I love you, Chris."

"Please, never leave me again."

"Promise."

A/n #2: I'm not sure how much I liked this one. I don't like how out of character it is, but I just NEEDED a happy ending
