Mama drama

After the whole live proposal in front of literally everyone, I quit my job to be part of Morgan's career. It wasn't much but I got to spend time with him and I loved this job way more than the other. I think he liked me being with him constantly, but he wasn't about to admit it.

All I had to really do was chill out backstage with Indie when he was with us, or make sure he had everything he needed for the night and make sure his hair was perfect.

Somehow his fans found out how to get ahold of me, so we were constantly getting hate messages. I tried staying busy and ignoring it but i just couldn't get it out, they literally hated the fact Morgan was settling down with someone other than them. They would say I'm not good enough for Indie and I'd treat him like dirt because he wasn't my own kid, he told me not let it bother me to just prove them wrong and make the best step mom that I was already doing for his boy.

We were home off the road for a week which meant laundry for days! No matter what we were doing we always played Morgan's music and some of Hardy's depending on what app we used, he was more vocal than usual when we're at home. I stopped right at the hallway where it meets the kitchen watching him and Indie have their moment, seeing him bond with his son always made my heart melt and I cried every time.

"Codeine, it got Elvis. Whiskey, it got Hank. I always thought something like that might send me on my way but you took hold of me like only one man can and gave one good reason to live to a set-on-dying man." As he swayed and danced around with him.

I couldn't help but just stand there and no watch them have their time together just the two of them, I decided to fix a small snack for Indie while we planned out how the next few month of touring was going to work.

I was in the bedroom finishing folding all the laundry, Morgan comes up from behind and wraps his arms around me. Our song comes on as he starts rocking us back and forth then he starts singing softly "I put your faith to the test when I tore off your dress in Richmond on high. I sobered up, I swore off that stuff
Forever this time and the old lover's sing "I thought it'd be me who helped him get home" but home was a dream one that I'd never seen 'til you came along."

We almost got into stripping when Indie came running wanting Daddy away from being to close to me, as he picks him up he hold us all close together he laid his head on me. Morgan hands him over to go tend to the smoker outside for our little party later, he comes back to quiet all around he walks to the bedroom to find us both asleep as Indigo is laying on top cuddled up close.

Morgan's pov

I had finally come to the conclusion Indie found trust in Bailynnd, when they had woken from their nap she had fixed him a small snack with a juice.

"Hey buddy wanna come outside with me and let Bailynnd get some house work done before guests arrive in a few hours?" I asked

Indie refused to leave her side I tried and tried I even bribed him with a toy but he wasn't about to budge.

"He's fine if anything when he finishes his snacks we can venture to the living room and watch cartoons while I clean there and the hallway. I promise he's not a problem he will be fine." She said

I left them alone to go back outside to finish getting everything set up for the small get together tonight I couldn't help but watch him play and bond with her, I knew I had made the best decision when I asked her to be my wife she is so great with him and I'm loving the fact he's loving her.

About halfway through the cookout Indie started getting tired, I was going to sneak away and take him to bed till his mom came to pick him up but he pitched a horrid fit for Bailynnd "okay okay let's go find her" I sat him down and he made a b line for her.

"He wants you I don't know why but he refuses to let me take him to bed, I don't know what's gotten into him he's never acted like this with any of the other females." He mumbled

"No no it's fine I'd rather watch him fall asleep peacefully rather than a screaming throw down fight, atleast he will be some what rested and in a better mood when his mom gets here." As she walks away with an almost asleep baby.

The party was going great, just wish she wasn't in the house with Indie it should have been me. A short time later Indies mom came to get him for his time with her, this time was going to be hard knowing Indie was not going easy.

"What are you doing? Where's indigo? Why are you not with him? WHERE IS MY BABY!" Brittany yelled

"Would you relax he's in his room with bailynnd, he refused to go to sleep for me he wanted her. I gave her the option she took it upon herself to put him to bed till you got here, she's a good person and wouldn't lay a hand on him so just go get him and leave I don't want shit started." He whispered angrily

Everyone watched the commotion, but they've been around long enough they just watch what crazy things she'll pull every time. I knew she wasn't about to leave peacefully, especially when she walked in and saw Indie clinging onto Bailynnd refusing to let go.

"Are you kidding me what is this? She's trying to take him away from me! She's wanting to replace me as his mother! And your just going to let her because your marrying her?!" He yelled

"No he's gotten attached to her, which is what I want considering she's going to be in his life. She's good to him and he loves being around her, they bond she feeds him nothing but the best because she wants you to like her and be able to be part of his life while she's with me. So just chill out, go home and I'll see you when you drop him off. I expect you to be nicer to her from here on out or I will take him for everything I have." He grunted
