Sage chuckled and shook her head when Gideon kissed her feet. "Gross." Gideon gave her a smirk. "Gross? You just stepped out of the shower and they are neat as fuck."

"I didn't know that fuck was neat?" Sage countered, going to the wardrobe. Gideon laughed, taking a picture of Sage from behind. She was wearing a cute light pink bra and beige panties.

"Don't click my pictures." Gideon looked at his phone screen. "Why wouldn't I? I know that you love it when I take your pictures..."

Sage smiled but Gideon couldn't see it. Sage loves it when Gideon clicks her pictures and smiles like an idiot looking at the picture. They sneak in and spend the nights on the weekdays as on weekends they tend to attend parties with their friends. "Are Cyrus and Camden attending tomorrow's party?"

"Yeah, your friends?"

"We are attending. Hopefully, Florie doesn't visit her parents."

"Wanna go out with me on Sunday?" Gideon asked while Sage put on her clothes.

"Where?"

"Surprise." Sage nodded her head excitedly. She loves Gideon's surprises. He always takes her to offbeat places and does things like packing their breakfast and making sandwiches for her. Which surely warms up Sage's heart.

"So is it true that Tariq and Aria are seeing each other?"

Sage nodded her head. "Tariq asked Aria out. They have been hanging out since he shifted to our section. They sit together and spend weekends together. It was meant to happen anyway."

"Nice, didn't know Aria had a thing for Tariq."

"Hmm?" Sage wrapped her arms around Gideon's torso. "Why not?"

"Thought Aria was with that Elwen guy who transferred." Sage smiled. "They did have chemistry but it's over for good."

"They dated?"

"Yup, but it didn't work out," Sage said. Gideon leaned down and kissed Sage's lips.

"I will leave you to prepare for the exam," Gideon whispered, and Sage nodded her head. Sage pouted her lips, not wanting to leave Gideon, but they had to concentrate on their paper.

"We will spend the whole weekend together."

"Okay." Gideon kissed Sage once before sneaking out of her room and going to his.

Sage traced her finger on her lower lip as she thought of Gideon. She was happy with how it was going. She knew, in the end, it was going to break them, but Sage didn't want to keep her distance from Gideon thinking of the future. She wants to live in the moment and, at present, she is happy. That's all that matters...

Florie laughed, startling Nash. "God, keep it calm, lady. You don't have to scare me all the time."

"I haven't."

Sage kept looking at her phone. She hadn't received any messages or snaps from Gideon. She hadn't seen him since yesterday. They had their exam in the morning and now they are at the cafeteria having their lunch.

Aria rolled her eyes when Tariq joked about the pink scarf she brought with her. "There's nothing wrong with pink."

Sage tapped her fingers on her thigh, searching for Gideon. Cyrus and Camden were sitting at their table without Gideon. "Sage, are you listening?" Indigo snapped her fingers in front of Sage's face.

Sage blinked her eyes and looked at Indigo, who was frowning. "Sorry, babe. What were you saying?"

Indigo slumped her shoulders. "I was saying, I will be coming to your dorm to get ready for the party. I forgot my makeup kit back at home."

"Oh, fine. Just come by six."

"Sure." Aria looked at Sage's lunch plate and back at Sage. She didn't even finish her pizza slice when everyone finished it and went for the seafood.

"Is everything okay? You aren't eating anything," Aria said. Sage looked at her plate. She didn't have the appetite to eat. There was a dread feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"I'm just feeling down. Will have some fruit," Sage said.

"I will get the fruit salad for you," Tariq said. Sage shook her head. "Thank you, I will get it." Sage stood up from her seat and wandered to get a new plate.

Cyrus and Camden made eye contact with Sage when she passed their table. They gave her a smile and Sage smiled back with a slight bow.

Aria watched Sage but didn't say anything. She knew something was off and she noticed Gideon was missing. Aria knew that something was going on between Sage and Gideon but she didn't want to talk about it or ask Sage. That night she heard Sage's moans and voices coming from Sage's room and the way Sage smiled, looking at her phone.

Aria knew about Sage and Gidoen going out on weekends. She is happy but she doesn't understand why they are keeping it a secret. But that's fine, to keep it low when they are just seeing each other or getting to know each other.

Sage crossed her arms boringly and watched her friends dancing on the floor. She hadn't touched any drinks yet. She is waiting for Gideon's message. He hadn't read her messages or called her. "You okay?"

Sage turned to see Tariq standing beside her. She gave the nod. Tariq smiled but stood quietly beside her. "Your enemy is out of the station as there was a family emergency."

Sage froze upon hearing the words. "Huh?"

"His father had an attack last night. Someone came late at night to take him from school. He will be back by next Saturday."

Sage didn't say anything. She just stood there with an unknown emotion taking over her body and mind. "How do you know?"

"My mum's working with Gideon's parents. She called me at noon," Tariq mentioned. Tariq didn't mention that he was good friends with Gideon.

Sage nodded her head but didn't ask him anything. She understood that Tariq understood whom she was looking for. "Now come on, get in and have some drinks. Don't spoil your mood..."

Sage smiled and followed Tariq to where they were serving the drinks. The party is happening at the Owl's building. They have got the biggest basement. In the mornings, it is used for gym and yoga, while in the evenings, all the big parties take place.
