Chapter 4

So we can see a girl sitting on the bed wearing a bridal red lehenga and a veil covering her face and rose petals scattered all over the bed. She is Avni, sitting all lost in her thoughts.

Avni(mind): Don't know what my baby would be doing. Before his arrival, I should call Nanno and inquire.

At the same time Neil opens the knob of the door and Avni's chain of thoughts break hearing the voice and sits straight.

Neil enters the room and see his bride sitting all ready clad in the lehenga and remembers something.

Flashback:
A couple was roaming on the street with the guy having bags in his hand and then his attention goes on a bridal dress.

Neil: Avni.

Avni: Yes Neil.

Neil: See this. What a nice bridal lehenga.

Avni: Yes Neil it is very nice.

Neil: Avni in our marriage you will wear like this only.
Wait, I will take its photo. We will get a similar lehenga made from a good designer.

Avni smiles and Neil takes a photo of that lehenga.

Flashback ends.

Neil sees the lady sitting on bed and goes and sits on the bed near her.
Avni feels his presence same goes with Neil.

Neil: Hi.. I am Neil. Can I take off your veil??

Avni shocks hearing his name and nods thinking some different Neil as she cannot see his face due to the veil. But she can feel the same voice and vibes from the guy sitting in front. Avni's heart was beating fastly.

Neil puts his hand on the veil and takes it off slowly and Avni then looks at him.

The veil is finally off and now both of them can see each other's face.

Neil: You(shock + angry)

Avni: You(sad+ angry)

Both say it in a unison.

Neil: what are you doing here Where is my wife? You had given sorrow 3 years back, wasn't that enough?

Avni: You are telling this to me Neil? What you did? Did you tried to find out the truth? No.  When I was begging you to listen to me, Did you hear me? No.  After all what was my fault Neil?

Neil gets angry hearing this and holds her by her shoulder.

Neil(shouting): You are asking me as if you don't know what was your fault?

Avni: don't shout (jerking his hand off her)

Neil: Why should I not? You gave the sorrows and you are asking me not to shout now? Why did you left me?

Avni is confused hearing this but shrugs it off.

Avni: I don't want to talk to you.

Neil: Then why did you married me? (angry)

Avni: I didn't know that you are my groom. If I had known before, I would have never married you. And you are asking me why I married you but you could have also refused for this marriage right? (coldly)

Neil:  I also didn't knew that you are my bride, else I would have never married you.

Avni gets hurted hearing this and says.

Avni: Same here.

Saying this she takes her phone and clothes and goes in the washroom to change. Neil seeing her going thinks something in his mind.

Neil(mind): Now that you are here, I should complete my revenge for the pain you gave me. I loved you and in return what did I got sorrows and pain. Now I will show you your real place .
Welcome to hell Ms. Avni ohh sorry sorry Mrs.Avni Neil Khanna.

On the other side, Avni enters the washroom and locks the door from inside. Avni then calls Nanno.

Avni: Hello.

Nanno: Avni, what happened?
Is everything fine?

Avni: Yes it is OK. Where is the Anaya, give her the phone.

Nanno: Yes one minute.( Calls Anaya and gives her phone)

Anaya:heyo(hello)

Avni: Hello baby..

Anaya: Mummmaa..

Avni: Haa baby, I am sholly I have some work so I will come in the morning. You go to sleep okay(in baby voice)

Anaya: Okieee Mumma.

And gives phone to Nanno and goes to bed and sleeps obeying her Mumma.

Nanno: Oh Avni, she fell asleep too.
she was very tired

Avni: Okay (coldly).

Saying this she cuts her call.

Nanno thinks and recognizes that she is angry on her which is expected.

Avni then comes out wearing her nightdress and was coming towards bed when Neil came.

Neil: Ohh hello madam. To where?

Avni: To where what? On the bed to sleep?

Neil: I have not accepted you as my wife, so by what right are you sleeping here.

Avni gets hurt and speaks.

Avni: So where should I sleep?

Neil: What I have to do with that? Wherever you want to sleep you can but not on the bed.

Saying this he gets on the bed, switches off the lamp and sleeps.

Avni looks at him and goes and sleeps on the couch uncomfortably.

Neil(mind): I don't want to give you the pain Avni as by giving you pain  I am hurting myself but you left no options with me.

And then they both sleeps.

So what is the misunderstanding between the two?

Is it a misunderstanding or did Neil cheat Avni or Avni cheated Neil?
