Chapter 13

Avni was fuming in the store room due to lack of oxygen and calling for help.

Avni(just a mere whisper): Please please someone take me out of here please.

Just then Avni remembered something.

Flashback:

Avneil were in a lift.

Neil: Avni don't take much time in shopping for today okay?

Avni:Why?

Neil: Avni dude it's very boring to hold the shopping bags.

Avni smiles but just then the lift stops abruptly and the lights of the lift go off. Avni got scared and quickly hugs Neil.

Neil: what happened Avni?

Avni(scared): Neil I have phobia of darkness. I am very scared Neil.

Neil: Calm down relax, I am there right then why to scare. Shhhh....

Neil hugged her back and after sometime lights came and they got out of the lift and Neil calm her down.

Flashback ends.

Avni smiles hurtfully and tearfully.

Avni(whispering): Please someone take me out Please...Anayaaa.....

But she fainted and lost her conscious and her breath was being laboured.

On the other hand, Neil was so busy in his work that he completely forgot about Avni and that he locked her in the store room.

Satish: Sir, RK sir is here.

Neil: Okay settle them and ask for tea coffee, I'll be there till then.

Satish nods and goes. Neil picks up his laptop and opens the door of his cabin but stops and frowns.

Neil: Why I have a feeling that I am forgetting something? No Neil you have gone mad.

Neil shrugs it off and goes.

Here we can see Shweta standing and was calling someone.

Shweta: Why this Avni is not picking up my calls? Don't know where she is busy she was saying that she is on a leave today. Is she fine? Yeah yeah she'll be fine. I think Avni and Neil must be spending quality time together. Yeah.

Shweta smiles and decided that she would try her phone later.

Here we can see Neil talking to his client RK.

Neil: So Mr. RK welcome to our office. I guess this is your first time in Khanna Industries . We usually had only video conferences till yet.

RK: Yes Mr.Neil. Actually I met your dad before but we are meeting for the first time.

They both smiles.

Neil: So can we start our meeting?

RK nods. Neil opened his presentation and presented his idea in front of him.

On the other side, Nanno is calling Avni and handling a crying Anaya.

Nanno: Aawwllleee kiddo awllw don't cry I am calling Mumma.
(To herself): Don't know where is this Avni? Why she isn't picking up my calls?

Anaya(crying): Mummmmaaaaa.......Mummmmaaaaa....mummaaaa....papi.......mummaaaa..

Nanno keeps her phone and tries to feed Anaya milk through the bottle but she is not taking it. After sometime she drinks milk and Nanno sings a lullaby for her and she sleeps.

It went three hours to do that.
Nanno again calls Avni but she did not pick up.

Nanno: Don't know where is this Avni. I'll call Shwetaji and ask.

Nanno calls Shweta.

Call:

Shweta: Yeah Nanno.

Nanno: Yes Shwetaji, can you give phone to Avni. I am calling her since a long time but she isn't picking up my calls.

Shweta: She isn't picking up your calls as well? She isn't even picking up mine. I thought that maybe she and Avni must be spending time with eachother. But I talked to her in the morning.

Nanno: Okay so she'll call me later seeing the missed calls. And you talked to her in the morning then no problem. You are not at home?

Shweta: No actually I came for a trip with my friends for 2 days and Prakashji went went for a business tour so.

Nanno: Oh okay. I'll end the call now.

Shweta(smiles): Okay.

Call ends.

Nanno also smiles and went to rest for sometime.

Here, finally Neil's meeting came to an end.

RK: So, Mr. Khanna , it was really impressive. And....

But he got a call RK excused and went.

After sometime he came back.

RK: I am sorry Neil, but I think I should leave now because it was a call from my  home minister so...

Neil: Home Minister ?

RK: means hamari biwi ji. My wifey.

Neil smiles and nods saying okay. RK leaves the office.

Just then Neil's smile vanishes.

Neil: Wifey, Avni... Shit.
Satish Satish

Satish: Yes sir.

Neil: I am going back home.

He quickly runs out of the office picking his belongings and sat in and started the car.

Neil(while driving the car): I am sorry Avni, Don't know what would have happened there.

Neil wipes his sweat and was driving fastly to reach home as fast as he can.

Neil: How could you do this Neil? You locked your love in the storeroom and forgot about it? Don't know how she must be now she has nyctophobia. Neil how could you do this.

He banged his hand in the steering wheel and reached home.
He quickly went inside and went near the store room.

Neil started banging the door.

Neil: Avnii.. Avnii... I am sorry I am here. I am sorry I'll be there in few seconds.

Neil looks at the lock on the door and starts searching key in his pocket.

Neil: Key?..... yeah in the room.

He quickly goes to the room and found the key and opened the door and shocked to see Avni.
