"We have to do something... We only have few hours left." I said and before I could think of a solution, the phone in my pocket rang. I looked at the caller id and my chest felt heavy. It was dad. I gulped and excused myself cuz i know if i pick the call, the whole building will shake due to dad's voice.

[JEON JUNGKOOK!] As I thought, he yelled into the phone which made me scrunch my face and agap the phone from my ear.

-d-dad..h-hello- I said awkwardly. I was infact scared cuz it's been two weeks that i had been ignoring his calls.

[If you remember you said you will find us a Daughter-in-law. You don't find yourself a girlfriend nor attend the blind dates I get arranged for you. Do you even have an idea of how much dishonor you are creating to our family?] Dad said continuosly not letting me talk.

[Why are you silent!? Do you think I'm free to give you a lecture every single day?!] He said.

-but dad! You aren't letting me speak!-

[See... Kids nowadays don't listen to their parents and talk back instead! Listen Jungkook, learn from your sister and get yourself a girlfriend. You aren't getting married and not even letting Jaeyoung get married. You better get yourself a girl orelse you will get married against your will. THATS FINAL!!] He said and before I could say something he cut the call.

I should learn from Jaeyoung!? *Scoff*

I stood there calming myself while looking at the city view. I took a deep breath and i think with the deep breath i also sucked an idea.

I got a idea which will obviously be hated by Lily. I know that, but still why don't i share it.

I texted JaeYoung to reach her with hyung as soon as possible and walked back to Lily and saw her standing there watering a plant. I walked back to her and took a deep breath to share this stupid idea i got.

"Lily... Marry Me." I said which almost made her choke on air.

"What the fuck!?" She cursed and I shrugged.

"See... You don't know dangerous Hyungseok is. Like you actually don't know. Trust me when he thinks to ruin a person, he does everything which is needed. He can even kill."

"Still!!! I won't get married to you! That too in a day!!."

"Who said get married in a day!? I just said, let's announce it in the media.. the news will spread like a wildfire. And in the meanwhile, i will be protecting you and your company!" I said my plan. But I'm a amused that she didn't ask what's my share of advantage.

"Let's assume i said ok. But what will you get from it?" Aha!

"Um.. it's that... I'm getting pressurized by my family to get married... It's only gonna be for a year and then we will get divorce. Making something up!" I clarified myself quickly and she gave me a 'i-knew-that!' look.

"But why only marraige!?" She said which made me walk to her. I grabbed her by her shoulders and made her look at me. In my eyes.

"You actually don't know how fucking dangerous that Shin is. I understand that you were flustered by the fact that I gave an idea of getting married. But trust me, this is the only way you can get out of this." I said. A pure question mark was visible in her eyes which i ignored.

"But why only marraige!?" She questioned me. Well i just can't explain! It's.. it's something she shouldn't and cannot know!

"See Lily... For now, if you wanna get out of this, then listen to me... Trust me... This is the only way to get out of this shit. If you be my wife, noone's gonna have the dare to look at you. Trust me." I assured her and she just nodded. Soon then the door was opened by hyung and JaeYoung walked behind him.

Hyung glanced at my hand and then her shoulder and quickly rushed to us pulling out Lily to hug her. I surely know its not just to hug her.

"What happened oppa?" JaeYoung asked and I told her everything that happened.

"And then I got an idea to get us married. You know how it will work out after that." I said eyeing JaeYoung and she nodded understanding my words.

"Married??!" Exclaimed Taehyungie hyung. Don't fucking act like you know nothing hyung!

"If we marry, she's gonna be my wife legally. So if someone try to hurt her, or force her to marry, i can take any actions against them. We can have a good point if in case we have to go to court." I said eyeing and hyung nodded. Thank god he gets it!

"See guys, i know it's just soo quick for this all. But we don't have time. Hyungseok is not a person who is easy to entertain. We are loosing time Lily..." I said and walked towards Lily who was currently near hyung.

"Lily... Trust me... We are loosing our time... Theres no other way we can do this... If he is with you then he can even harm Hyung to get you. Please... I'm ready to do anything to save you and Hyung from this." I said and held her hand. She looked and hyung and he gave a subtle nod to her. She hesitantly looked at me and nodded her head as a yes.

"So... Ms. Lilac Carter will you marry me..?" I said walked a step forward minus-ing the gap between her. My eyes locked with her and i could literally see that red crimson hue on her cheeks.

"Yes.." she said and a smirk formed on the corner of my lips.

Shin Motherfucking Hyungseok.. your time starts now...

"Hyung, go down with Lily, and you will see a car with my driver in it.. Lily take all kinds of important and confidential files which you think are important for the company and go with hyung. The driver will take you to a safehouse." I ordered making Lily nodd and she ran to gather those important things.

"And also if you think you have something important at home, you can tell me or JaeYoung and we will bring them." I said while she shook her head.

"I have nothing in my home. It's only the office." I saw her stuffing some files into her office bag. Until then hyung walked to me.

"Are you sure that marraige is the only thing which can save her..?" He whispered and I nodd my head.

"Hyung... I know you care for her. I understand you cuz even I'm an elder brother. But trust me... This is the only way around which goes with peace." I said making hyung nod.

"Remember, one single drop of tear from her eyes becuz of you and you will be boneless." He warned me and walked off.

"Don't worry... He's just like you oppa." JaeYoung said from beside sucessfully earning a chuckle from me.

"Done." Lily said and she was about to step out the cabin when I pulled her by her wrist that made her land on my well-built chest.

"Take care yeobo... Call me if there's some trouble."

So close to the title of the chapter. The next episodes will be having the romance of Lily and Jungkook with some chemistry and biology 🌚

And tbh, when i wrote the dialogue "Marry Me" i internally screamed 'Yoongi Merry Meeee.'😂💀
