"Baby?" I turned back, offended. Who the heck dares to call Lily as baby-

I looked at Lily. She froze. I could feel that. The look in her eyes showed some kind of inner fear coming out. Her hand looped into mine. And I looked again at him.

"Say hi, baby. That's not the way you greet someone, is it?" Lily shrugged towards me, hiding behind my shoulder.

"I'll talk to you later, baby. Let me first greet this young man." he finally looked at me as I slowly tried to calm myself down.

This monster right here is scaring my wif-

"Mr. Jeon," he reached his hand out, and I stared at it for a millisecond. Ew, I don't even want to touch him.

"Mr. Carter," I gritted those words out with difficulty. My blood was boiling and I reached to shake his hand.

"Firm grip, like a true fighter." he remarked and I chuckled. His other hand reached to hold our hands together. I threw him a tight lip smile as I slowly wriggled my hands out, as soon as I did, I wiped them at my side.

He reeks of cigar.

"Come have a seat, let's have some talk." I nod, leading Lily to sit where we previously sat. The plates were taken back and Lily sat so close to me. She's scared.

I took her hand in mine, holding it to help comfort her.

"First of all, congratulations, young man!" Mr. Carter said and I nodded smiling. "Korea's youngest member of the trillion squad. That's pretty impressive." I nodded, "Thank you, sir." he nods back, and looks at the table realising something.

"Oh, get them something to eat." I shake my head to refuse the offer. "No, we are fine. We were already offered."

He nods his head again, "I've been in this industry for more than 4 decades. But I've never seen someone as young as you achieving such milestone." I chuckled, more likely scoffed.

"Age surely does bring experience, sir. But you don't need to be old to know the tactics to take over an empire." his eyebrows shot up in the air as he nodded his head again. What's with this man and nodding?

"I agree-" he was cut with his phone's ring. He pulled his phone out and looked at the screen through his glasses that almost fell off his nose.

Lily mostly looks like her mother.

"Oh, I have to take this one, excuse me." he stood up to walk towards the window.

"That's sick, man!" I faked a laugh, looking around. I was sitting near a window, closer to the backdoor of the kitchen. A worker walks out, leaving the door open.

"Oh shit," I dig into my pocket, pulling out my phone to make up an act. "I just realised I have my master's phone, boys take me to him, please." The huge-ass guard named Seonhyun nodded, standing up to lead me.

"Come with me, buddy." he takes me into the kitchen and we see no one there. "I can go find them by mys-" I said, looking at the kitchen counter. It had a glass container filled with tablets and cookies by the side.

"Seonhyun!" the old lady screeched from the other side of the mansion. The guard sighed before looking at me. "Do not wander around, okay? I find you in places you shouldn't be, you die." he says before walking away.
