Well. There goes my plan to avoid the Cullens the whole time...maybe nothing will come of me showing them around. I hope...but I've also got to watch my thoughts now.

"Lucky! Showing the new rich kids around. I get first dibs on any of the cute guys." Lauren said, as she stood at my locker, with Jessica and Angela.

"Go ahead. Not interested in dating until College." I said, spraying perfume on.

"Uh-Huh, then why are you spraying on perfume~" Jessica said teasingly,

"Because I stink." I don't want to risk the chance I smell delicious.

"Well. We'll see you Monday!" Angela said, pulling Jessica away with her.

Lauren rolled her eyes before she left, muttering to herself. I am going to live until I die. I'm not going to get bitten. I'm not going to be in any pain. I sighed as I made my way to the office.

...

I stood at the office, waiting for the Cullen's to come out of the principal's office. I was going to be showing the four of them around, school was over so nobody would be here. Why me? I leaned on the counter and watched as Mrs. Carter typed on her computer.

"You have the best grades Ms. Swan, and a good memory. Despite having Amnesia." Mrs. Carter said, without looking up from her computer.

"So does Jessica, and she doesn't have amnesia" I grumbled, putting my chin on my arms as I looked at her.

"You turn your homework in, same day. Jessica turns them in when they are due." she gave me a pointed look.

I pouted at her, she just shook her head at me and went back to typing. I looked to the door when it opened, and Mr. Jameson walked out with Mr. & Mrs. Cullen and their adopted kids. Honestly. They look too gorgeous to be human. Ha...I love muscles. I scanned Emmett before standing up.

"Ms. Swan, thank you for staying late to show our new students around." Mr. Jameson said, giving me a kind smile.

I think the only adult who doesn't treat me like I'm fragile is Mrs. Carter. I gave a two finger half-assed salute. I turned to the Cullen's; Edward had his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I wonder what he's thinking. Mr. Jameson introduced me to the group of Cullen's. Alice had this sparkle in her eyes when I looked at her. Ah she's seen me.

"It's nice to meet you! I think we're going to be great friends!" Alice grinned, as she skipped over and linked arms with me.

Haaa?! Oh great...being friends with inhumanly pretty people...I wonder if I can avoid her. I gave her a small smile, as she pulled me out of the room chatting about clothes. The others following after us, she stopped after a few minutes and gave me a sheepish smile. I couldn't resist grinning at her in amusement, she went to remove her arm from mine, but I tightened the grip lightly, and looked ahead. Luckily, we didn't move far before she realized she wasn't supposed to know her way around; and I went on with the tour.

....

I love my friends. Any time Alice would try and talk to me, one of my friends would appear out of nowhere and need to speak with me urgently. Though, they were all actual 'emergencies'. It was only that way for the first two months. Issues with the Cullens all being adopted and dating each other. Alice was also pouting at lunch the whole two months. And I've learned - well, have a hunch that Edward can't read my mind. Primarily because I screamed in my head that he was a vampire and none of his family have talked to me about it or snuck into my room. Or he thinks I'm crazy.
