"How often?" Edward asked as he leaned in the doorway of the bathroom.

The Cullens had gotten back two days; I hadn't felt like talking to them, not after they left, and wouldn't respond when I needed help. I was sitting next to the table, having thrown up my dinner.

"You're going to have to be more specific," I said as I flushed the toilet but didn't get up.

"How long have you been throwing up blood?" Edward asked, frowning at me.

"I threw up my food since the first week of February. The blood was not until Harry died...I left all of you messages." I said, leaning back against the tub.

"Come over after school tomorrow, Carlisle-" Edward started,

"I'm heading to Seattle after school tomorrow. Will be there for the weekend, meeting up with the Woman who's been buying my art." I cut him off,

"Artemis, I don't think-...be safe," Edward sighed, stopping himself when I glared at him.

I was going to borrow Bella's truck so Edward would pick her up and bring her home for school.

~~~
"Thank you for bringing these to me...why don't you stay the night? It's been dangerous out lately." Clarissa, the woman who had been buying my art, asked.
"I wouldn't want to be a burden...I don't sleep well," I gave her a small smile.
"Non-Sense. I could introduce you to my daughter. She's a fan of your artwork." Clarissa said,
"...Alright. I guess...I could stay." I nodded,
"Oh! Scotty! Come help bring these upstairs," Clarissa said, waving someone over.
"I told you to stop calling me that," a man said in a deep voice, annoyed.
"Never. Artemis, this is my son, Scott. Alise is upstairs," Clarissa said, taking a few canvases' from the back.
I gave Scott a nod and grabbed two boxes. I made it a rule to avoid looking any Scotts in the face to be safe. I'm sure the universe would give him another mate, especially if I die soon. I carried up, using the elevator following behind Clarissa; I sat down a book.
"Hello! It's so good to meet you!" Alise said with a big grin on her face as she grabbed my hands, making me look her in the eyes.
"Um...Hi..." I muttered she's like Alice.
"You must think I'm like Alice, huh," she grinned, eyes sparkling.
What? I stiffened, looking at her skeptically. She wasn't a vampire...
"Alise!" Scott and Clarissa groaned at her,
"What? - Oh, right. Oh well. Alice asked about you since I'm a seer and can look into anyone except you! Not even Mom could see your future! - Well, except for-" Alise started, getting cut off by Clarissa.
"Alise Aria Lithius!" Clarissa shouted, glaring at her daughter, her eyes glowing white.
"Come on, Mom! You said there were exceptions!" Alise rolled her eyes,
"...I'm going to get the other stuff..." I said, backing away and going to the elevator.
Fucking shit. More supernatural. They weren't even in the movie or book.
"Sorry about Alise. She's young and in training." Scott said, leaning against Bella's truck.
"...Are you one too?" I asked, climbing into the truck to push everything closer to the back.
"No. Only the women are seers. The men take after their father...I can take you back if you don't want to stay the night." Scott said,
"And how would you get back?" I asked,
"Like I said. Men take after their father...if you really want to know, I can tell you, but I'm going to take a guess that you don't." Scott said, taking a box and going back inside.
He's him. Clarissa came back down, bringing Alise with her, and apologized for the scene they had created. I told them not to worry about it, and I wasn't going to say anything. I didn't want to deal with any more supernatural shit.
.
"So... why won't you look Scott in the eyes?" Alise asked after we finished bringing everything up.
"Alise, shut up." Scott snapped
"I'm going outside for a second," I said. I left the apartment, taking the stairs.
I moved a couple of feet away as I lit a cigarette, rubbing my shoulder as I stood there. After a few minutes, I was on my second one, and Scott came out.
"Sorry about her," Scott said as he stood next to me, hands in his jeans pockets.
"You don't have to be out here with me," I told him, looking up at the sky as it grew darker.
"Dangerous out. There are monsters out here. Been a lot lately," Scott said,
He stayed with me while I had two more cigarettes. Neither of us talked; it was nice.
