"Are you ready to hear the ballad of bull?" Gruzzli excitedly asked (A.N. One of my favs)
This question was met with a resounding silence and confusion of what exactly the words said had anything to do with each other.
"It's a song about Taiyang 'bull' xiao long."
"Bull?" Raven looked at tai with a confused face seeing tai put his hands up as if surrendering
"Don't ask me ask gruzzli."
"Bull." Raven looked in gruzzlis direction
"Yes, Bull. A nickname given to him by a bull Faunus."
This confused many as why a Faunus would give Tai a nickname especially one that has been used in a derogatory manner against cow and ox Faunus.
"So, mind telling us the details about the video" Blake impatiently asked
"Oh yes, sorry. Taiyang Xiao long when still doing huntsmen work was trapped with 12 others some Faunus, some human all in no shape to GTFO and under heavy fire from bandits. This song is dedicated to him and his deeds."
Many looked at the screen assuming all said and done but a hand popped up from a certain red girl.
"What does GTFO mean?" Ruby innocently asked causing a wave of dread wash over team RWBY and tai while Qrow was quickly elbowed by winter to prevent him from saying anything.
"Don't worry Ruby you'll learn one day." Gruzzli reassured her praying to any and all gods that the people in this room won't kill him for messing up
It showed tai sitting on his porch with Zwei before the music started fading the the flag of vale
"Sometimes war is killing Sometimes it's saving lives It's the judgement of fate It's nothing that man can dictate."
"You can always dictate who you kill in a combat zone." Raven tried to poke holes in this logic but was surprised at the light slap on the back of her head that came from tai
"You can't always win by killing." Tai disagreed with ravens twisted sense of logic, sure it could work but if you kill everyone you just have a bunch of killers with nobody left to kill but each other is what tai concluded.
"Huntsmen Taiyang xiao long Carried them from Tambu Saved his brothers in arms Went out and followed through."
"You saved some people big deal." Roman rolled his eyes
"It's not about how large the deal is, it's about how important it is." Tai calmly tried to explain this but caused all of the guys to give him a look
"Did you just 'it's not the size that matters it's about how you use it' analogy for saving lives?" Qrow was trying not to burst out laughing.

After a moment of laughter by some and disappointment from others the group eventually looked back to the screen

"One hell of a feat but I'm still curious about how he earned the nickname bull." Coco was impressed but also confused by how it came to be
"Yeah I'm not so sure how I got that name." Tai agreed wanting to learn about this
"If you insist on hearing how he got it fine. During his years in beacon he played a game of vale (Aussie) football when him and a bull Faunus where against each other he simply out charged the bull Faunus and anyone who stood in his path. He was a bull and earned such a reputation."
To this revelation that it wasn't earned in battle or given by his team but by a game of footy and out bulling a bull Faunus made many people less excited about the nickname though it still is an impressive feat considering the numerous advantages the Faunus has over a human.
"That's a shame, would've been funnier if it was what I thought it was." Qrow chuckled
"And what exactly did you think happened to get the name?" Glynda eyed suspiciously at Qrow for being, well, Qrow.
"Not here." Qrow gestured towards the students making Glyndas suspicions were confirmed about what a dusty old Qrow was thinking.

"Dad I didn't know you where a baker!" Yang shouted in shock
"I'm not but thanks for your confidence in my skills." Tai scratched his head nervously
"No not that! A bakers dozen got out sure you where all probably a bit scrambled but you guys are tough eggs." This failure of egg puns was ended by Blake forcing Yang to stop to everyone's delight

"You even brought the Faunus back?" Velvet asked surprised
"Well why wouldn't I? If they're in trouble I'm going." Tai was genuinely confused by the question. Why wouldn't he? Is there any reason not to help?
This response made the Faunus and team CFVY happy

The scene shifted back to tai on his porch with zwei with 12 guys coming towards the house some with drinks others with food all ready to celebrate the day tai saved them from certain death
"To be a hero doesn't require a flashy story." Ozpin sipped from his mug
Almost everyone agreed some people thought it was a useless endeavour
"What's the point of even saving them? They are weak." Raven pointed out but tai had a counter ready for ravens quip
"One day they might save 12 more and if the process continues that's a lot of people being saved. Also weren't you the one who was too weak to help raise our daughter? Tai immediately regretted the second part of that sentence the second it escaped his lips, closing his eyes and wishing that raven was deaf for a moment before realizing that he should ask her to let him update his will before she does anything
Moments pass and nothing
Tai opened his eyes and looked at raven who sat in a saddened posture realizing that he may have messed up even more tau tried his best to apologize eventually settling on an undisclosed deal between the two
