The sun shines through the spotty sky as Alicorn walks towards the canteen. She looks around and hardly sees anyone, only a few soldiers patrolling and a couple ships walking about. Alicorn continues to walk until she comes to a stop as she sees Team Destroys a few meters in front of her; They all look sad.
Alicorn walks over to the Three Destroyers and Light Cruiser. "Girls?" She calls out.
The four kids turn to Alicorn. "Hey, Alicorn." They greet in a sad tone.
Alicorn raises an eyebrow. "What's wrong children?"
"We're just... sad Miss Alicorn." Belchan informs.
"We're sad about Independence." Kalk says.
"I ran out of candy and Independence died, today's not a good day." Echo says.
"Hobby very sad." Hobby says.
A tingling feeling stirring within Alicorn's chest, and she doesn't like it. "Well... why don't we go get some lunch together."
"Okay." The fours girls says.
"You're so kind Miss Alicorn." Belchan says.
'I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it to get rid of this feeling in my chest.' Alicorn says in thought.
Alicorn walks off and the four kids follow her.
"Hobby wants to know if Alicorn knows what took down Independence?" Hobby asks.
Hairs on Alicorn's neck rises as she thinks back to the massive flying 'Bird' "A powerful enemy, one that I don't know if I can take down without my rail cannon."
"That's a strong enemy if Alicorn has to use her most powerful weapon." Echo says.
Alicorn thinks back to the Missiles she's dubbed Helios, the ones that caused the death of Independence. Then how the drones attached to this 'Bird'. "Yes, indeed."
The five girls reach the cafeteria and they retrieve their food and sit down and proceed to eat.
The four younger girls pick at their food a little with a sad look. Alicorn eats like nothing happened.
"Miss Alicorn?" Belchan calls out.
"Yes, Belchan?" Alicorn looks to her.
"Do you think we'll... get taken down like Miss Independence?"
The tingling feeling returns in Alicorn's chest. "I.. Uh... No, because I'll be there to protect all four of you." 'Ugh, why did I say that?'
The four kids smile. "Really?" They ask.
Alicorn sighs. "Yes, I shall be there to make sure you all live long and fulfilling lives."
"Thank you, Miss Alicorn!" The four girls cheer.
Alicorn sweatdrops. 'At least the feelings gone.'
