"I don't think my father thought the world would turn out like this. All he wanted was peace for everyone, but now the world is burning and millions are dead. I... I'm at fault for this, Equus wouldn't have done this if I wasn't here. So It's my duty to make everything right."

Alicorn, Strider and Cyclops squadrons, plus a few other pilots enter a meeting room. Everyone sits down and starts to talk and laugh.

"Well, you could hardly tell that this mission will turn the tides of the war with how everyone acting." Count mutters.

"Everyone's nervous, Count." Húxiān states.

"I agree." Jeager agrees. "They're just trying to alleviate some of the stress."

"Aren't you nervous, Count?" Alicorn asks.

Count scoffs as he crosses his arms and leans back in his chair. "As if. We just got done with a heavy battle yesterday, so this should be a cake walk."

Flare leans onto the back of Count's chair. "We don't even know the mission yet, Count."

"Can't be as bad as trying to fight off a hundred planes from bombing a convoy over a desert. With a sandstorm just on the brink of reaching us."

Lanza shivers. "That was a scary battle."

Tailor rubs his tired eyes. "I'd say."

A Captain enters the room and everyone stands up and salutes.

"At ease." The Captain waves a hand and walks up to the podium at the front of the room.

Everyone sits down as the Captain turns on a TV showing off Europe and Asia, most of it being red.

The Captain clears his throat. "Iron Blood forces have managed to push back the Separatists to the edge of their territory. And with that they managed to halt supplies reaching the Separatists allies within the rest of Europe, effectively cutting them off."

"Finally some good news." A pilot sighs in relief.

"Haven't had any of that in two weeks." Another sighs.

"However, The Separatists are feeling the pressure and are reacting by attempting to activate a ballistic missile base in the Zugspitze Mountain range." The Captain informs as the screen shows the mountain range, along with lots of information. "For the past 72 hours, they've put their resources and people into action. And have already entered the final stages of a launch."

"Shiiiit...." Count grumbles. "So this probably just got harder."

"You had to jinx us, Count." Húxiān lightly elbows him

The Captain continues. "The missile silo is deep underground. To destroy it, we'll need a bomber to drop a huge deep-penetration bomb in a precise place. Unfortunately, the airspace is thick with clouds at the moment, so it'll be difficult for a bomber to hit the target accurately. Normally, we'd wait for the weather to clear, but with the situation being what it is, we don't have that option. So, we will be the bomber's eyes and find the missile silo."

"Won't be too hard for me." Alicorn smiles.

"That's because you're mostly a computer." Húxiān points out.

"Exactly."

The Captain continues. "You'll all be equipped with targeting pods instead of special weapons. We need you to fly at low altitude, visually identify which silo they're activating, then acquire it with your targeting pods. Once you press the firing switch, the bombers will drop their payload based on the location data provided by the targeting pod. You will need to keep the silo in the center of your sight until the bomb hits its target, or else it will miss entirely. It takes a high level of airmanship to properly guide these bombs to their targets while flying a plane."
