In the special apartment for the birthday party, people were running everywhere. In the main hall, a big table was placed. The girls from Mystery Club, except from Jessica, were ready for the party beginning: everyone was wearing dresses and pretty shoes. The boys weared smokings of different types and a little casual. Every single person present in there wanted to look fancy and cool. The table was ready with all the tableware on it. There was already some food, and the other was in the process of making. Some of the members, like Sandra or Naomi, went to the studio and back there to bring some things. Carla was helping Jessica prepare:
-How the hell can you have such long hair, girl?-commented Carla while brushing Jessica's hair.
- I don't really know. You know that I had it long since I was a kid.
-Well, that's true.- she left the brush on the table - I also remember how we played "The Spa Salon."
-Oh God, we always ended up with strange hairstyles!
They both laughed. Someone knocked on the door.
-Come in!- shouted Jessica.
Diego entered the room:
-Girls, there is someone who wants to see ya.
-Let them enter.- said Carla.
Diego murmured something to someone, and he went out of the room. A woman entered. As she did, both Carla and Jessica rushed to her, and the three of them hugged.
-Happy birthday, Jessie!!! - said the woman.
-Thank you, Ari!
The woman's name is Ariadna. She is Carla's older sister.
-Sissy, you said that you would be back here in two weeks.
-Aren't you happy to see me?
-I am! But I didn't expect you to come now!
They hugged once again. Ariadna gave Jessica her present, which was a fancy emerald bag that matched perfectly with Jessica's birthday dress.
The guests were coming, most of them were from the Club or some old friends. Soon after, the Burns and the Green's had arrived. Cody was the first one to enter, followed by Frankie. He did the "Friendship greeting" that he and Mystery Club members invented.
-Kon'nichiwa, Jin!- said Cody, smiling.
-What's up, Cody?
Graham understood that Jin was Japanese, so he did a Japanese greeting reverence apart from the spoken greeting. The teen smiled and greeted the same way.
-Could I see Jessica?- asked Cody.
-Yes, why not? Follow me!
The families were placed in their respective places. Cody chatted with Jessica a little, after, he joined his family at the table. A while after, everyone was starting to sit at the table. Jessica, along with Diego, were the last ones to enter the room. Instantly, the Burns' eyes widened. She was wearing a beautiful long dress.
