Chapter 12

From the day Aay left Vegas, Vegas realized that the most effective way to defeat someone is to keep the person he loves away from him.

He become a torturer because he hate himself. he want to punish his soul. That day, Vegas went back to his father after killing the innocent Vegas inside him. But Pete made reborn that sensitive inside of Vegas.

It had been almost four years since Vegas away from his friends. Vegas was remembered Aay's phone number. He was called to Aay at the hospital that day and asked to rebuild the house that he had destroyed that day. Aay asked Vegas for a week for that. Everything went as planned by Vegas.

*Present Day*

Vegas and Aay are looking at each other for a while

Aay : so you came back.

Vegas : This was the best option I had

Aay : im really happy to see you again Vegas. And thank you for asking me to come.

Vegas : The reason I told you to come is, i want to checkup on Pete. He has come a long way, so i need to know his condition now.

Aay looked at the car behind Vegas. He saw someone sitting in the front seat

Aay : Is that Pete that you told me about?

Vegas : yes he is. Lets go inside. I'll take Pete here.

Vegas went to the car and opened the door

Vegas : This is our home Pete. Let's go inside. That's a friend of mine. He is a doctor. He came to check on you. So you have nothing to fear.

Vegas grabbed Pete's hand and led him out of the car and walk to home. But Pete stopped suddenly.

Vegas : Why Pete, what's the matter?

Suddenly Pete started vomiting. Aay came running to the two. Vegas panicked and patted Pete on the back and put his hand on Pete's forehead to try to comfort him.

Vegas : Are you okay Pete?

Pete felt dizzy. So he leaned on Vegas.

Aay : Let's take him inside.

Vegas lift Pete up, take him inside and make him laid on the sofa. Aay checked him.

Aay : Vegas, its nothing to fear, he is fine. He is just little weak and tired. He was throwup because he had been in the car for a long time. He need rest.

Vegas : Hmmm okay. But I'm very worried about that he hasn't spoken yet.

Aay : He will. Give him some time. Dont worry about it. Okay. Let's give him something to drink now.

Aay went to the fridge.

Aay : I brought you dinner when I came. It's in the oven. Along with that, we brought you two of your favorite Caramel Macchiato. Take this, I'll give this to Pete

Aay gave it to Vegas and then went to Pete and tried to give it to him as well. But Pete didn't take it. Vegas smiles.

Vegas : He only drinks if I give to him.

Vegas walked over to Pete and give him that drink and he drank it too. Vegas keep looking at Pete. Pete still look pale. And his eyes are also look so tired.

Vegas: I have to take Pete to the room now. He looks very tired. Can you open the bedroom's door for me?

Aay : Okay.

Pete still felt dizzy. So Vegas lifted Pete up and carried him upstairs.

Only the swimming pool and the large bedroom are on that floor. Vegas carried Pete to bed and carefully placed a blanket over him.

After that, he patted his head until he fell asleep. Pete quickly fell asleep due to exhaustion. Vegas pulled Pete's blanket up and kissed his head, saying, "Sleep well my baby." Aay was watching all this while sitting on the sofa there.

Aay : Vegas, then I'll go. Call me if you need anything. I will come anytime. Key of the house is on the table.

Vegas : okay

Aye left and turned back to Vegas.

Aay : Vegas, shall I tell to Yim and Tiffy? You know how much they worried about you. Shouldn't they know you're here?

Vegas start to think. Vegas really owes an apology for them. They take care of Vegas like parents. He left Without telling them, they worried and loved Vegas so much.

Aay : You dont know, they haven't talked to me since that day. Even though we work in the same hospital, they don't even look at my face. They are so angry because of their love for you. So I think they should know you're here.

"Hmm okay" Vegas nodded.

Aay got into his car. He looked at Vegas's house for a while and started driving down the road very fast. Suddenly he stopped the vehicle and started hitting the steering wheel with his hands and shouting with teary eyes.

Aay : That love should have belonged to me. I could have owned that kiss. Those words should have belonged to me. I'm a big fool. I'm too stupid to lose that love. I lost him. I behaved like a fool for the sake of others' happiness. I'm sorry Vegas. im an idiot. I abandoned you. I gave you a lot of pain. You will never forgive me and I deserve it.

Aay drove away.
