this is not what I have imagined from the moment we start,
happy places, weddings, dates, tulips or even roses,
soft kisses, warm hugs-your arms is where my home is.
You did not just break my heart,
I should have known this from the very start,
how your eyes wander around every moment I talk,
or how you keep a distance every time we take a walk,
or how you forgot the color of my eyes,
and how easy for you to say those goodbyes,
or how you agree with the words of your friend,
even if they are disrespecting me, you did not even bother to defend,
or how you went to sleep after hearing my cries,
and how you keep me around even if I know all your lies.
I stayed up all night picturing a life without you,
it scarred my feelings but I know it will come true,
soon; it'll happen soon and I know it would,
you did not just break my heart,
you crushed my soul and I know,
you did good.
