Manhatten part 3

"Are you telling me, that us meeting was a coincidence?" "Me meeting Hope and Kol was just fate?" "Because how the hell did that happen?" "If it wasn't in your plan, or your father's?" Emma questioned all at once, before the Cassidy man could answer Emma questions she had more to say

" Because I know for a fact that it definitely wasn't a part of the twins plans, since they were a year and a held when we met." Emma says defending the Cassidy man daughters once again.

"Think about it." "He wanted you to break the curse." "Us meeting – that could have stopped it. Maybe it was fate." Neal answered Emma questions. While wondering why the blonde was defending his daughters. Since as far as he knew the three of them have not seen or heard from each other, since he left Emma to get caught and go to jail. But he ignores it for now.

"You believe in that?" Emma asked in disbelief

"You know, there's not a ton about my father that I remember that doesn't suck." "But he used to tell me that there are no coincidences." "Everything that happens, happens by design, and there's nothing we can do about it." "Forces greater than us conspire to make it happen." "Fate, destiny, whatever you want to call it." "The point is... Maybe we met for a reason." "Maybe something good came from us being together." Neal's tell Emma

"No." "Not that I can think of." "I just went to jail. That's it." "Doesn't matter now." "I'm over it." "And you." Emma says lieing since two good things did happen since they meet, one meeting Hope and Nikkol and two her having Henry.

"Why do you wear the, uh, key chain I got you?" Neal asked.

(Emma takes off the necklace and places it on the counter in front of Neal.)

"To remind myself never to trust someone again." The blonde says out loud. While thinking about how she does trust Hope and Nikkol.

After a pregnant pause Emma continues talking.

"Come on." "I made a deal with your father I'd bring you to him." Emma informs Neal

"You made a deal with him?" Neal asked panicked.

"Yeah. And I'm upholding my end." Emma tells Neal

"No, Emma, you don't have to. You know that." Neal asked Emma. Hopping she won't bring him to his father.

"I know." The blonde says

"Okay, so this should be really easy for you." "Tell him that you lost me." "Tell him you can't find me." "You do that, you'll never have to see me or the twins again." Neal begs Emma

–[Fairy Tale Land - Past]–

(Rumpelstiltskin is at one of the army's camps set up in the woods. There are several tents set up, along with several armed soldiers walking around. He walks past one of the tents as a soldier is exiting.)

"Soldier." A random man says to Rumpelstiltskin

"Me?" the soon to be dark one questioned

"I'm needed at the front." "You guard this crate with your life." The same man says
