me and matt go to his car since he wants to "talk" about something so important that i really don't wanna hear about right now.
"talk matt" i say after it was silent for a few seconds
"ok so i wanna talk about junior year.." he says
"no matt it's not the time" i say walking away
as i'm walking away i don't look back. maybe i should've heard him out.. but i really don't wanna talk about it right now.
matt's pov
i just wish she would listen to me so we can be friends again. what happened in junior year was not my fault..
i text nick and chris and tell them i'm ready to go and to get everyone else.
they all come outside and isabella is drunk.. as per usual.
"so who's going where?" i ask since i'm driving everyone around
"just take me and issy to my house" willow says
i can't get over how pretty she looks tonight.
"ok that's fine" i say
"why don't we all have a sleepover" nick asks
"sorry nick.. but i don't think it's a good night" she says
"ok i respect that" nick replies
"why" chris asks willow
"because issy is drunk and i'm just not in the mood and don't wanna bring everyone else down" she replies
"oh i hope you feel better" chris says
"text me if you need to talk or something" nick adds
"thanks guys. i'm happy that you're always there for me." she says
i used to love when willow got like this. all nice and emotional out of the blue. he compliments and hugs would always be so comforting. i can't believe i lost this over something that i DIDN'T even do.
***the next day
i wake up with issy sleeping next to me. she wakes up seconds later and says
"what happened last night i don't remember anything"
"you were wasted as per usual" i reply
"oh my god i smell a bad hangover coming" she says
"why" i ask
"my head and stomach hurt really bad" she replies
"you want some medicine" i ask
"yes please" she replies
i walk to the kitchen and get her some medicine and tea.
"i'm gonna go brush my teeth and do my skincare in the guest bedroom first" she says
"me too" i say
we get ready and stuff and then she takes the medicine and we just eat breakfast and talk about what's been going on in life recently.
"matt tried to "talk" to me last night about what he did in junior year and i just told him i didn't want to and walked away.." i say
"GIRL. you should've heard him out not gonna lie but if you're not ready to talk about it i get it" she says
"maybe i will next time we're alone.." i say
"go for it girly" she says
"so what's going on with you and chris" i asks teasingly
