Aliyah walked into the party with a smile on her face, eager to see Topper. As soon as she saw him, she walked over and gave him a big hug.
"Hey, babe," Topper said, pulling her close.
"Hey," Aliyah replied, smiling up at him.
But as the night wore on, Aliyah started to feel uneasy. Topper was acting differently, and she couldn't quite put her finger on why. Then, she walked in on him hooking up with another girl.
Tears streamed down her face as she shouted at him. "How could you do this to me, Topper? I thought we had something special!"
Topper tried to explain himself, but Aliyah was too upset to listen. She stormed out of the party, feeling heartbroken and alone.
She didn't know where to go, so she ended up at John B's house. He could see how upset she was and pulled her into a hug.
"It's okay, Aliyah," John B said softly. "I'm here for you."
They sat on the couch together, and Aliyah poured her heart out to him. John B listened intently, offering words of comfort and support.
As the night wore on, Aliyah started to feel a sense of peace. She looked up at John B and felt a spark between them. Without thinking, she leaned in and kissed him.
