Placing bets

note// yes I'm back and i have a long part to make up for the time I was gone, but I'm still going to be making parts at a slower rate the usual bc of personal reasons //

Katherine pov:

Joel and Lizzie left to go give out invitations. And Pearl, Shubble, Gem, and I were left." Ok so I'm just going to say this now since they are out of the room." Pearl started. " Oh my- Pearl we are not bringing up this topic again" Gem said and sounded irritated.

"No, I'm intrigued, please continue," I said. " Gladly, Gem and I have been talking and we think, well Gem thinks." Pearl whispers the last part. " But I'm 25% sure Jimmy might be developing a little crush on the king of Rivendell,"

"Wait What, REALLY? Shubble said in shock

"Yea, and I heard from a little birdie that he hasn't even realized it yet" Pearl finished. Gem rolled her eyes and started " Now Pearl wants to make bets on who will ask out each other, or when  they realize they like one another," Gem finished

" I think we should place bets on when they start dating," I said.

Pearl, Gem, And Shubble said one after another." Yea I think we should, it would be fun. And plus I think I would win." I said. " Well I think we should have a meeting with just us because they could just walk-," As Pearl was about to finish her sentence the two in question walked right in.

Jimmy's pov:

" Hey guys, we found some supplies. I said happily. Scott nodded in agreement. " We'll pick back up on "that" convo later," Pearl said. Jimmy just brushed that per usual. But Scott had a confused look and then he looked at him and whispered " do you have any clue what they are talking about?" Scott said. "No clue,"I said

Katherine pov:

When everyone got back to House Blossom we talked about how and the overall theme of the party. Afterward, everyone left except Shubble. They look like they were looking for something." Hey Shrub, did you lose something?" I asked. " Yea, I lost my hairpin, the one you made for me like a month or two ago," They finished while still looking around.

I got on the ground and helped look for it for about 5 minutes . " I found it- ow," I said while bumping my head against the table. " Oh are you ok, does your head hurt, I can go get you some ic-," I stopped them in their little frantic state. " I'm fine it doesn't hurt anymore, and here's your hairpin." I said standing up from the ground as Shubble helped me up. After I waved them goodbye and to get home safe and see you next week all the essentials of saying goodbyes. Then I got back to my paperwork. That comes with making a party for a lot of people.

Scotts pov:

It's  the next day and Scott was making something new in his kingdom when a civilian came up to him." Um king Scott we are running out of slime and we really need it, by any chance you have any?" They said." Oh hi, Of course I might have some but if not I'll go get some from the Cod empire," I said "Thank you so much," they said while walking away.

Scott went into his storage room and saw he was all out of slime blocks. " I hate how hot it is in the Cod empire" He said to himself. Then begin to fly out and head to the Cod empire.  As he reaches the empire and lands on the ground and looks for the Cod father himself.

Scott looks around for a while and still can't find him. Then he hears laughing from the swamp up ahead. As he walks up to it and sees Jimmy swimming in the water happily and enjoying himself. As he moves his hair from in front of his face; he looks up at scott. " Hey Scott, did you know something?," he said. As all Scot was thinking about was how adorable he looked.
