Y/n POV

It's been two years since I became HongJoong Princess or in his term queen. I was in the garden enjoying the peaceful air. Hongjoong was able to say a deal with the other kingdoms so no one had to start a war on each other. Drake and Mary decided to go back to our grandparents for the next week leaving Me alone for a bit. I did felt a little lonely when their gone but that do change when I felt some gently wrap their arms around my waist.
"Enjoying the garden my love" I smiled and nodded my head before I turn to look at Hongjoong. "Of course my King, but what brings you here. I think you were busy today?" I said gently wrapping my arms around his neck and lightly combed his hair with my fingers. "I manage to get some time off since everything been going alright with the trades" Hongjoong said as I leans in and lightly kissed me while pulled me closer to him. As I kissed back, we both let out a please hum before pulling away to look at each other.

I was glad that he finally gets some time to himself. Hongjoong had been busy with the trading, had to fight off enemies that been trying to kill him and everything else that took up his time. The day that he marked me and claimed me as his, everyone in the kingdom please the other kingdoms heard about it. Some questions why he choose a human instead of his own kind while other was happy that Hongjoong finally had someone to be with. "My star, I had something planned for us but I need you to wear some comfortable okay" Hongjoong said placing a soft on my forehead.
"Alright my love" As we headed to our room and change into something more casual and comfortable.

Hongjoong led me to where his horses were. "We're gonna take a ride to our destination" Hongjoong smirks as he grabbed two harness and got his best horses ready for us. Once he was done, Hongjoong helped me get on and steady his black horse before he got on to his horse. "Follow me" He said leading the way as he took the horses on a stroll. This wasn't my first time riding a horse but riding with someone else was a nice change.
As we rode for who knows how long. Hongjoong slowed down his pace to ride beside me. "Oh are you enjoying the scenery love" I smiled as looked down the hill to see a beautiful field of flowers while some houses here and there to see. "It's beautiful, I never seen the scenery like this" I said turn to look at Hongjoong and gave him a smile. "Indeed it is, come on we're almost there" Hongjoong snap the rane to pick up the pace and I followed behind as we entered the forest that was protect by Hongjoong magic.

Not before long, I saw a cozy looking cabin that look like it was brand new. When we arrive to the spot, Hongjoong got off his horse to walked over to where I was an helped me down. "Shall we head inside" Hongjoong said taking my hand in his as we entered the cabin. As we got inside, I was amazed by how decorative and beautiful it was. "What is this place" I said walking the cabin to check out every part of it before turning to look at Hongjoong. "Well my love, this is our getaway home I had Seonghwa the a few other built so we can have peace and quiet to ourselves" He said taking my hands in his as he pulled them up to his lips and kissed them.

"How generous of you" I chuckled softly before pulling him into a proper kiss. We spend our time in the cabin that Hongjoong had made for us, as it was getting late. Hongjoong decided to cook for the two of us as I was both happy and excited. "This is a rare sight to see" I mention as I watch Hongjoong at the kitchen cooking our dinner. He just chuckled softly and continue his work as I walked over to him and gently wrap my arms around his waist.
"Dinner is almost done Hun, maybe of that we can take a nice warm bath together" I nodded my head while giving him a kiss on the cheek before I enter to the living room and took a seat on the sofa. Once food was ready and we ate, We did indeed got the bath ready for us to relax in.

"How do you like it here so far Y/n?" Hongjoong ask gently placing light kisses on my shoulder as I was leaning against him. "I love it, we should come here more often" I said closing my eyes and relaxed in his embrace. As we relaxed and enjoyed the bath together, I felt Hongjoong shift as he covered my eyes softly. "I have a surprise for you love" He whispered before reaching over to grab something then slowly uncover my eyes. "You can open them" Hongjoong said as I open them to see him hold a small box in front of me.
"Is this what I think it is!" I turn my head to look at him as he smiled softly and open the box to reveal a ring. "For meeting you that day up til now, I felt bless to have you in my life and want to keep this relationship going for the rest of our lives" He started to talk as my face started to turn red as my eyes started to get watery. "So Y/n L/n, will you do the honor and marry me" Hongjoong said and I turn to face him and kisses him happily.
