Chapter 1 - Incipient Woe

There lived the people of potentia under the rule of King lelas and the Crown passed down many rulers all the way to the current ruler Hikulaya, the year 909.

The tiny country lived In peace and shared a boundary with only one country in the Vulpes Ocean . The neighbouring kingdom was called All-Stella which was under the rule of King Morant and they were at peace, they lived inside their walls and prospered. King Hikulaya was an old man with white hair and blue eyes and was full of supernatural power. He had 5 children; three sons, two daughters and 8 grandchildren. The oldest of the children was called Jorris, followed by Harkness, Levi, Adan and Velda. The grandchildren were called Arram, Amaias, Emi, Olivia, Evanora, Hikulaya II, Nero and Ernest. King Morant was a very old man with grey hair and brown eyes, the King had severe necrotising faciitis (A bacterial infection that spreads quickly in the body and can cause death) and he also had supernatural powers. He had three children all sons and 4 grandchildren. The oldest Druj Kozbi, followed by Axon and Roan. The grandchildren were called Brisco, Tamaran, Viden and Stefan.

Most nations other than farland and Brisco were part of an alliance called the Paramount Council which was formed the year 895. The countries and their rulers promised to keep the peace and it was so, that if any country part of the Paramount Alliance were to go against their promise, the nations shall make sure that the violators face major consequences. The Paramount Alliance stretches as far as the North West border of Sora (excluding Brisco, Mastylvania, Farland and Kharland) to the south of Lupo in the Aventis Sea all the way (excluding Leona and Capital) to the Galland Sea and as far North as the Contorix Sea (excluding Likance and Grand-Finnec). It was also so that if any nation in the Paramount Alliance were under attack by an outside force, other nations shall help the country against the outside force.

Ergo, mainly because of this, the people of the nations have been at peace ever since and are thriving.

Although Potentia is the smallest country in the world, it was famous for many reasons, however one reason stood out the most; there was an ancient tablet found washed up on a beach in Lockheed and in it described there being a tree in potentia that produces fruits called gracepomma, about 13 every 3 years that contains a great power and 'whosoever eats of the fruits will gain augmented power and those who have no power will develop power' however 'if someone picks the fruit before it is ready the power will be lost' and 'if someone eats the fruit before it is ready, HE SHALL SURELY DIE', this myth has made many people curious over the years however none from the outside have seen it as Potentia have private airspace with the world apart from All-Stella, this is so the people are easier protected, however you can enter if you request and receive a permit.

The year 910 was yet another regular meeting for the Kings Hikulaya and Morant on the West border of All-Stella. King Hikulaya and his army faced All-Stella as King Morant's spies apparently saw the tree and so King Morant wants answers.

King Morant: "So it is true, the myth is a myth no longer?"
King Hikulaya: "Indeed it is true"
King Morant: "And you didn't think to tell me, your friend?"
King Hikulaya: "And why do you think that is?"
King Morant: "I beg your par--"
King Hikulaya: "If you'd had known, surely you'd have tried to take it"
King Morant (jokingly): "I would never, i am a 'just' king not a theif and how would I, I am of old age and you are younger, you could destroy me"
King Hikulaya (jokingly): "Your army could; anyhow I shall not share because of how very little fruit the tree of Augmentation produces, we need it for our people, now I shall see you again soon, until next time my friend."

They then parted. King Hikulaya to his Headquarters, the Kodor Palace. King Morant to his restful place, the Asta Palace.
