Chapter 7 - Newfangled King

At night, Vagra snuck into his brother the king's palace. In front of King Toma's bedroom door lay four Heavy-duty guards. That night, Vagra was the quietest he'd ever been; King Toma wasn't sleeping but thinking about his beloved guards who recently passed away. Suddenly, Vagra was next to King Toma sitting on the window. King Toma then spotted him:

  King Toma: "H-how did you get in here?"
  Vagra: "........"
  King Toma: "Get out! I am not in the mood."
  Vagra: "........"
  King Toma (angrily): "Guards![...] guards."
  Vagra (softly): "Nobody's coming."

Just before rapidly entering without a sound or trace, Vagra used his powers making them move in slow motion and slit their throtes with his razor-sharp hands; when they fell, they fell quietly as they were stuck in slow motion.

  King Toma: "What have you done???!"
  Vagra: "I will tell you straight, I killed your royal guards; you have two options: Hand the Kingdom to me or die. So which will it be?"
  King Toma: "Why, why can't you enjoy peace??!!!"
  Vagra: "Because of you, we are under the promise of the Paramount Alliance, therefore we I mean I cannot do as I  please; I had to kill your guards as they were ment to protect you and were normally always at your side apart from when I killed them of course. Now that they are gone only you are left, you are the final link with the Paramount Alliance, therefore you must be exterminated! And nobody can save you."
  King Toma: "How dare you! Leave this place, a bounty shall be placed on your he--"
 
Before the King finished his sentence, Vagra decapitated him with his razor-sharp power-coated hands and his head went flying out the window. Then he said "It was a simple question, you took too long."
Vagra then fled the scene.

The next day, some guards found the kings head and they shouted "The King is dead!" and later it was found that a group of drunk guards killed the King. However like before, this was one of Vagra's tricks (he got a group of soldiers and knocked them out, put beer in their hands and placed them in the king's bedroom where his body lay headless) which lead to innocent people receiving cruel punishment and in this case death.

The next of royal blood was Vagra and so he was later corinated and named 'King of Sora'. King Vagra's plan was a success, he is now in full control of Sora and not under the promise of the Paramount Alliance and he, his royal guards and army consisting of 1.8 million strong are unstoppable. King Vagra will now wait for Prince Druj to complete his task before officially starting his ultimate plan. A military base of the Paramount Alliance was later attacked as they were no longer bound there. Sora had more soldiers so they had no choice but to retreat.
 
After the death of King Toma's royal guards and before the rapid crowning of Vagra, Prince Druj returned to the Asta palace in All-Stella. He then went to the top of the palace where he was able to communicate to most of his 4,257 strong and spoke.

  Prince Druj: "I have returned and I am healed, is this not a sign that we shall not fall? In two days time, we shall surprise them with a flurry of soldiers and they shall be destroyed. We then shall destroy potentia and we shall rule these lands. Sharpen your swords, spears, lances and arrows, harden your armour, helmets and shields, because when we shall meet them in battle, they won't welcome us, they aren't our friends and won't hesitate to kill us. Therefore be ready to kill each one of them in any way, humane or inhumane. Kill them, kill Them! You are free to rampage! Now be ready for we ride in two days, long live the new kingdom!!"
  Everyone: "Long live the new kingdom!, down with the King!"

The people of Prince Druj were so currupt, most of the day they spoke such: "I can't wait to kill them.","Just imagine the amount of women we could rape.", "I'm gonna steal all their loot.", "They will become our slaves." These soldiers were far from atonement but voluntarily evil and messed up. They were like demons in human flesh. Deep inside they truly believed that they could win.

  Soldier (Radio jamming): "Sora base to Retrocei (HQ of the Paramount Alliance/Council) We are under attack. I repeat we are under attack. Sora has attacked our military base, we are requesting backup. They have destroyed our ground forces and have reduced us to the sea, only a few warships are left."

  Retrocei dispatcher: "Roger. Lockheed Paramount base force shall be sent to your location and should arrive in around 15 minutes. This shall be passed to the Council. Stay strong."
  Soldier: "Roger."
  Retrocei dispatcher (communicating to the heads in Retrocei): "Exclusion in Sora, reasons unknown. Lockheed base has been contacted and backup has been sent."

This was then discussed on radio.
Count Culloh (A Head of the Paramount Alliance at Retrocei): "Sora has been excluded (name for when a country/nation goes against the Paramount Alliance) reasons unknown, therefore we shall retaliate."
  Neo (Commanding officer at Kendell, northern post): "Don't worry I'll head over there with 18 warships and sort it out."
  Hugo (Commanding officer at Titanica): "I'll tag along with 3 warships."
  Neo (Relaxed):  "Then I guess it's sorted."
  Count Culloh: "Indeed, now then take care. Be careful they are dangerous. You are dismissed. Stay strong."

The officers then departed. Neo and Hugo were on route to Sora.

Concurrently, in Sora, one of King Vagra's five royal guards Kimmel Zeno approached him, kneeled and said "My liege, it appears on our monitors that Lockheed forces are approaching us most likely for attacking and removing the Paramount Alliance's base from our land. Please may I dispose of them." King Vagra responded: "You may. Show them the power we possess." Kimmel then responds: "Thank you, my king."

In this planet mutants weren't very common, however they were very useful in the army. The only way to counter a mutant was by using hypersteel, a rare type of steel that would surpress their powers. Some armies had special mutant teams for example the Paramount Alliance have the Mutant Association. However some served in the normal army.

Kimmel Zeno was a mutant with the ability to control gravity, he was also adept in combat. He went out, was floating in the air, breathed out and whilst the Lockheed forces were approaching at a rapid pace he said: "Now then, let's start." two fighter jets fired missiles above the palace where King Vagra was sitting on his throne, however Kimmel changed the gravity which caused the missiles and jets to float. Kimmel whilst floating in the air grabbed the missiles and put them in a floating pile, he then threw them at  Lockheed boats and ground forces which were at close range. However before the missiles exploded, he flew to the two fighter jets, destroyed the cockpit windows, placed his hands on the pilots heads and crushed them. Kimmel then turned gravity back to normal and the missiles exploded causing the Lockheed boats and ground forces to perish. The two fighter jets inactive, plunged to their destruction. Many died that night and the Lockheed backup was completely expunged.

Kimmel then returned to the palace King Vagra was in.
  Kimmel: "I have successfully exterminated them."
  King Vagra: "Of course, you wouldn't lose to some small fry. Lately I've been thinking, we should also create a new division: 'The Elites' a team of mutants that shall guide our soldiers.
  Kimmel: "I agree, I shall find many mutants in our cities and will bring them to you."
  King Vagra: "Yes, you do that. Also have fifteen horsemen wait in the Soric forest incase Prince Druj were to return."
  Kimmel: "As you wish."

Kimmel then departed. Meanwhile Neo and Hugo received an update on the radio.

  Dispatcher: "Sora update: the backup sent from Lockheed have been completely destroyed. All of the Paramount Alliance's forces near Sora have been ordered to stand down and wait for your arrival before attacking."
   Neo (sighing): "It seems that this won't end peacefully. Actually it most likely will end with whoever is King now, being executed by me."
  Hugo: "They have one of the biggest armies, how will we be able to execute the King? We don't have enough power with us for war."
  Neo: "I control light, all I need to do is appear in front of him and there I shall kill him if instructed."
  Hugo: "Let's hope that it doesn't result to war."
  Neo: "Let's hope."

Little did they know, soon, the world would tremble.
