Chapter 2 - Covetous Junkie

King Morant had plans not to attack for seizure of the tree, however little did he know, his hier to the throne Druj Kozbi had different intentions in mind and so when King Morant returned to his Palace, he was challenged by Druj.

Prince Druj (whilst bowing): "His majesty, my father, the King, may I ask, what are your intentions with the Tree of Augmentation?"
King Morant: "I shall do nothing, that tree is not ours to take, I respect King Hikulaya's decision and so I will not seize it for my own"
Prince Druj: "But why?, if the legend is true, don't you know how much power we could posses?, our army could become one of the most powerful to ever exist, we could take over the world and no one could stop us."
King Morant: "You speak as a fool speaks, instead of peace you prefer to destroy and posses."
Prince Druj: "Destroy and posses for a greater good."
King Morant: "life is not all about conquering but sometimes making and keeping the peace, I shall do nothing, the tree is theirs there is no need to break the peace that there already is."
Prince Druj: "But now that we know that the legend is true don't you think other nations will race to get it?, if this happens what shall you say then when we and Potentia are crushed under their soles?"
King Morant: "Then we shall be ready and we shall fight valiantly together, and if we perish in the end than let it be so, but what we shall not do is steal from our good neighbour's pocket at night!, We shall do nothing, I have spoken!!"
Prince Druj: "But we c--"
King Morant: "Enough, I Have Spoken!!, You Are Dismissed!"
Prince Druj (whilst laughing in a wicked way): "Fine then I shall do it my self, I shall become The supreme ruler of these lands and you all shall die by my hand!!!"

Prince Axon: "Have you gone mad?!, watch your tongue!."
Prince Roan: "Lest you be dealt with!"
Prince Druj (hissing furiously): "silence you inferior, low-bred degenerates!!"

Druj then rapidly fled by flight( because he knew that if he'd stayed longer, he would have been severely punished).

A few days later the kingdom was is disarray and in a state of panic. There was an uproar and noise became more and more frequent. A large body of people, with weaponds at the ready marched in unity heading towards the Kings whereabouts: The Asta Palace, the third most important palace in the kingdom made up of 200 guards. The march was made up of Soldiers and people, in total 4,257 strong, who chose to follow Druj, they were actively killing people who opposed Druj on the way, these included : men, women, boys, girls, and the babies of those who didn't bend the knee. No matter the race, age or gender, anyone who opposed Druj was mercilessly put to the sword. It was as if everyone following Druj became emotionless, hour by hour all they did was march, eat, kill, and say "All Hail Druj the supreme" and this cycle repeated throughout the journey.

The colossal body of people were spotted at a really far distance by hawks (guards who actively watch the border of the Palace with telescopes) and the hawks were met with 3 sentinels who fled the horrid scene on horseback and told them the situation and requested that they evacuated. Word was then rapidly sent to the King.

Guard 1 (whilst running): "Your highness, the kingdom is in a state of panic, your son has divided the kingdom, he has told the people 'My father is old and has shown throughout the years to be wise, however it seems his wisdom has left him, he has become weak and scared, I told him we need to seize the tree of power so that we as a kingdom can rise above all others, but he disagrees and sits there grunting all day, my message to you is to follow me and I promise you a brighter future where all of you shall be above many nations and shall prosper above all. Now I need to know who is for me and is willing to fight this better life and who is against me, now rise if you are for the new kingdom that shall be above the world and more powerful than ever before or shall you remain part of this old kingdom and perish?.' "
Guard 2: "Your sons Prince Axon and Prince Roan actively stood loyal and strong with the royal sentinels, a good amount of knights and the King's guard and opposed Druj and were prepared to attack, however Prince Druj took with him all regal guards and most knights and more than half of the people took up arms against you, they were too numerous for the Princes and so they had no choice but to retreat."
King Morant: "That Aling and dirty rotting Scamp!, I shall have his head on a platter! , from this day on he is my son No Longer!, what have I done to these things I used to call 'my people?', have I not done everything?, I have given them food, shelter, protection and much more but they scoff at me and are thankless, so from this day they are no longer my people but traitors to the throne and are all due death, have the remaining loyal soldiers, my grandchildren and good people evacuated and relocated in the west border of All-Stella, the New Stella Palace, our headquarters containing 3,777 strong. There I shall give one final command to my remaining army before heading to war against Druj and the traitors."
Guard 1&2: "As you command, quickly it shall be done."
Grand Sentinel(comes in running just before guard 1&2 leave): "Your highness the King, Druj and a grand army of rebels are heading for this city and the throne, they shall be here by dusk, you should evacuate, your sons have already evacuated many of the good people, you must go."
King Morant: "Yes I have sent guards to evacuate the people and to go to the West border of All-Stella, the HQ, let us go quick."
Grand Sentinel: "Your highness, with all due respect, I must decline, you must go but I must stay; I as the Grand Sentinel must fulfil my role and must protect your throne, I must show this traitor who he is messing with."
King Morant: "Don't be rediculous, you by yourself won't last 2 minutes against most of what was our army, let's go I am old and need assistance to get to my destination, come help me, let's go."
Grand Sentinel: "I knew you would say this so I brought some old friends."

12 X-Sentinels then entered the room with full armour and weapons and all said "Glory be to the King". 8 guards then also entered.
Grand Sentinel: "You see, myself and these old soldiers have come once again to protect the throne, however this time we have no intention of leaving, we shall stall them even if it lasts for 2 minutes, it will be two great minutes of fulfillment, we shall not go down without a fight, now please go with these 8 soldiers to your people who still believe in you and give them hope."

The King tried to persuade them but they wouldn't listen.

King Morant: "It seems that you will not listen, anyway if it is this you want, then you may do as you please, thank you for your long-lasting service, I only have one more order to give you all, before you fall, give 'em Hell! Honour shall be upon you: Sir Athen(Grand Sentinel), Sir Jack, Sir Redford, Sir Shaw, Sir Noah, Dame Evelyn, Sir Bertram, Sir Bjorn, Sir Zog, Sir Tobieddan, Dame Liara, Sir Wallace and Dame Ashley!!!"

The King was then rapidly evacuated and the 13 stayed. Suddenly, out of nowhere a group of 25 internally ill knights joined the 13 and explained that they were going to help because they were all going to die soon so they preferred to die in battle instead of dying a slow and painful death. Then the ill Knights hid well on the ceiling of the throne room and the 13 stood hidden behind the throne room waiting.
