Chapter 4 - Witted Expansion I

17 hours after Sir Athen's death, Ivan, Prince Druj's chief of regal guards saw him suffering on his throne and had a suggestion.
Ivan: "Prince Druj, future King of these lands, why do you sit there suffering in silence?, are our medics not good enough?"
Prince Druj (whilst breathing slowly, close to death due to losing much blood and in great depression ): "Our medics are good enough, they have patched me up, but I have lost an arm and have a torned leg. I am sitting here, slowly fading away on this throne every hour, for I have lost much blood. At this rate, my death is in sight, there was nothing the medics could have done. It seems that I was naïve in thinking that I could be the supreme ruler of these lands, the duration of this war shall be shortened and my crown shall be no more."
Ivan: "Do not say such things, I did not follow you for you to abandon me, I will stay on your side, it isn't too late, for I have an idea, however I am unsure if you will like it or not."
Prince Druj: "Enlighten me."
Ivan: "Have you heard of a people with land so big, they could destroy us with scraps?"
Prince Druj: "You don't mean-"
Ivon: "Precisely, I am referring to the land of Sora."
Prince Druj (whilst coughing): "Go on."
Ivon: "I have heard that many of their people possess supernatural powers and the highest in command have immense power and are able to share some powers to some individuals; I propose that we communicate with them to aid us to help us against All-Stella and possibly Potentia, and they posess have the ability to heal you."
Prince Druj: "Why would they aid us or even heal me when we have nothing to give, surely they could take from us and do with us as they please, plus no nation has been able to successfully invade it, they were destroyed before even approaching their cities."
Ivon: "Those were nations with no power, we in contrast know a way to obtain much supernatural power that could create an unstoppable army; through the tree our soldiers could be weaponised and used to suppress all nations that stand against us, we could find a way to increase the amount of fruit produced or even the amount of trees. So let us seek aid from Sora and in fact tell them the truth about the 'Tree of Augmentation' and surely they shall seek interest in increasing the strength of their country and together we shall rise above the nations and create a new world."
Prince Druj (whilst smiling): "It seems I have no choice, it's either I die in vain or I join forces; I would like to go with this plan, let's just hope it works. Get the ship and horses ready and we must not seem threatening so we shall set sail with twenty men and no more, we shall set sail on the morrow."
Ivon: "As you wish my Lord."

They then prepared for their journey ahead and readied the ship with twenty-two horses and twenty regal guards.
