Silence filled scene. All sat still, backs straight and not a hair out of place. They were the epitome of bourgeois - opulent. Sitting there shroud in complete black, The Knights of Walpurgis held a sense of intimidation and power.
"You all should know this meeting holds significance as I would never schedule one this close to Slugclub's dinners", Riddle started.
The Knights' gazes flickered around the table.
"But I have tasks for some of you- "
He was intrupted as Malfoy began "But my Lord, most of us already have tasks assigned to us".
Tom lifted a simple ringed finger to stop him.
"You would not mind doing one more, now would you?" He questioned raising a singular brow.
"No my Lord."
"Avery, find out what you can about varying forms of magic. Specifically to do with shadows." The young Lord continued.
Artemis responded with a brisk nod.
"Rosier, Travers how are the recruitment's going?"
"Well, my Lord. We have received some letters back and others are willing to attend the the Malfoy's yule ball to discuss more" Vega answered, eager to please.
Tom paused, he had forgotten about the stupid ball. But he had to admit, they were helpful in securing allies for his cause.
"Good. Antares will be joining me to Slughorn's dinner as usual. I want you to learn what you can about Selene Irai - she seems to think defying me is within her rights", he manipulated the situation with ease: Tom couldn't afford suspicion to arise.
The young Black nodded, confusion clouding her visage. Antares knew all the pureblood lineages, Irai wrung a bell. But the young witch was sure she wasn't a pureblood; after all Antares would have seen her at one of the many pureblood functions. They did like to boast their wealth quite a bit.
The meeting came to a close shortly after discussing Tom's plan on how to aquire the Slytherin locket.
The Knights filtered out of the room on the seventh floor. Antares, making her decent upon the stairs, had her mind set one thing. The target of her task.
