Y/n woke up from her nightmare. She had been having quite a lot of these lately. They were almost all the time about a certain someone.
Lucius.
And how he has been abusing herself and Draco nearly their entire lives. About everything.
He wasn't Y/n's dad, but because she never knew her father, Lucius was the only person close to a father figure.
Lucius was an alcoholic and always came home drunk, when he then would punch, stab, use unforgivable curses, you name it, he would do it, on Narcissa, Y/n and Draco.
"You're a disgrace to this family! Lose some weight. I'm embarrassed to call you anything near daughter." he spit to Y/n. Y/n then suffered from depression.
After struggling with abuse her whole life, she had no emotion. She couldn't feel anything anymore.
He had broken her.
She was numb.
y/n's pov:
I sat up straight and turned my head to the left, where Daphne was sleeping. I glanced over at her alarm clock. The red numbers flickered and read 5:33. I turned my head in front myself, where my best friend for 12 years, Pansy slept.
Considering I couldn't sleep anymore, I pulled the covers off, wiped my eyes clean and walked slowly to the bathroom half awake.
As I opened the door, it creaked, loudly. I looked at myself in the mirror before turning on the tap and splashing my face with water.
I got ready for the day, brushing my hair and teeth and taking a shower. I usually didn't style my hair very often, but I had a feeling that I would need to today.

I was finishing brushing my hair, when I heard a knock.
"Come in!" I responded.
The door opened, revealing a very tired, but pretty Pansy.
"Good morning my love," I said with a warm smile, as Pansy walked further inside the bathroom. I moved out the way so Pansy could have better access to the sink.
She splashed water on her face and looked up at the mirror. Her eyes shifted to me.
"How can you be so fucking awake in the morning." she groaned, "I could go sleep another 5 hours!" she continued, turning around, leaning on the sink and rolling her eyes.
"You're overreacting Pansy. Now wake up!" I said in lightly shaking her shoulders.
Me and Pansy were pretty much inseparable. We would do everything together. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Even the naughty stuff. Wink wink.
"Ugh. Just so you know, I only wake up everyday just for you, Daph and," she hesitated, then smiled and blushed," you know who. "
Y/n did know. It was Blasie. She loved Blaise. She's had a big, fat, massive crush on him for years. Blaise has had a crush on Pansy (which was veryyyy obvious) as well but she doesn't believe it. Neither does he.
Suddenly a voice interrupts our conversation.
"Good morning sleepyhead!" Daphne says, looking at Pansy. "Pans, you really need to learn how to get up in the morning." she continues sassily.
"Shush Daph, she's in a bad mood. Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." I say, gently placing my hairbrush on the counter and putting a finger over my giggling mouth. Daphne returns with another giggle, doing the same gesture as me.
"I'm skipping today. Good night folks." Pansy says, bowing, making a dramatic exit out of the bathroom.
As soon as she does, me and Daphne burst out giggling.
"So much giggling in the morning, how do you survive Pansy?" A masculine voice says.
"Beats me." Pansy says returning to her warm bed.
Me and Daphne turn around to see Lorenzo.
"Good morning. What brings you here?" Daphne says, crossing both arms across her chest, blushing slightly.
"I'm here to walk you to class so you don't get 'mixed up' next time and start walking back to your dorm to hang out with Y/n all day." Enzo says, rolling his eyes and finger quoting 'mixed up'.
For the second time this morning me and Daphne burst into a fit of giggles. This made Enzo let out a little chuckle.
"Fine, fine." Daphne says, still giggling. "Leave so I can quickly get ready. Shoo, shoo." She adds, swatting her hands, signalling for me and Lorenzo to shoo off.
Enzo and I walk out of the bathroom. I go to the closet Pansy, Daphne and I share to change into my uniform as Lorenzo gently takes a seat on Daphne's, already made bed.

After I finish changing, I sit on my bed, grab my phone and start scrolling through instagram. Nothing new.
