It was a while after Nana and Lucinda had their whole Magic fight that Y/n decided she would spend the day out with Levin and Malachi. The younger of the two had been asking if he could build a treehouse, like one from his books. Malachi was also excited when he learned what one was so that's what Y/n would be doing today.

Aphmau was a little too busy today as she had left early in the morning to go and deal with things in the village. Y/n hadn't been involved in politics since she got back not wanting to stress herself out with the Zane situation, but she would be going back to work tomorrow. So since this was her last day with zero stress she would be spending it with her two favorite boys.

Stretching her arms above her head Y/n shuffled out of bed and into the bathroom. Getting ready for the day she headed downstairs where Zoey greeted her good morning and slid over a plate of breakfast. Y/n thanked her before asking where the boys were.

"They're playing outside. Did you need them for something?"

"Yeah I was planning on building a treehouse for them, they had been asking me for one recently" Y/n explained shoving the fruit she was given into her mouth.

"That's a wonderful idea I'm sure the boys will be more than excited. This gives me just enough time to improve my magic too!"

"Enjoy the day off Zoey, you should really take off more"

"Oh I'm fine, by the way, Malachi was talking about the ocean the other day and he seemed really interested in it. There's a spot nearby the sea that is perfect"

"That's a great idea! but I don't think we have trees big enough for that"

"I already have the problem solved stay here a moment," The elf said jumping out of her seat.

"Sure thing" Y/n replied giving Thorgi one of the blueberries from her bowl.

The big dog let out happy noises trying to get some more of the food from the girl. Y/n laughed giving him a few more of the berries he was allowed to eat. Petting the small dog she went over to the sink to give the bowl a quick wash as she waited for Zoey. The elf didn't take long to come back with a small tree sapling in hand.

"Here take this," Zoey said giving the girl the sapling.

"Oh, my Irene how did you get this? I've always wanted to see a Yggdrasil tree before. This treehouse is about to be for me instead of the boys" Y/n laughed.

"I brought two of the sapling with me when I left the first a long time ago. I can't wait to see it again"

"Thank you, Zoey, I'll be sure to make it the best treehouse you'll ever see" Y/n promised.

"I'm sure it will be. Just so you know, to make the tree grow instantly you need to plant the sapling and surround it with water. You might want to bring a water bucket with you." The elf said handing the one she was holding to the girl "Please be careful and go have fun with Levin and Malachi"

"I'll be back later," Y/n said.

Leaving the house Y/n made her way over to the little playground Malachi and Levin had. The two brothers were busy playing in the small sand pit making little sand castles. Malachi seemed to be making a moot for the toy ship they brought with them. Malachi excitedly sprinted over when he saw Y/n leave the house.

"Hey, mom! What are we going to do today!" The ghost boy asked all excited.

"Well I was thinking real hard about this and today we're going to make....A treehouse!"

Levin's head shot up from his sandcastle all excited with Y/n's new words. Malachi let out a series of squeals as he jumped around the playpen before giving Y/n a big hug "REALLY?!?! I ALWAYS WANTED A TREEHOUSE! I CANT WAIT"
