~Bakery~

"So" Demetri asks me as we are sitting down with Felix-apparently we met a decade back but I was sleeping then-as we talk about Melody "Melody is willing to hang out this weekend?" I nod my head "What does she like?" I've talked with Melody and she's willing to spend this Saturday with Demetri, get to know him.

"She likes going to the mall" I say "she loves animals, she loves the beach-though no piercings, that is something I'm doing with her" he nods his head understanding that that's something that is meant for us. Mother daughter type of thing.

"So your suggesting" Felix asks as he holds Violet in his arms "for Demetri to do girl stuff?"

"Yeah" nodding my head "you can offer advice about guys"

Felix bursts out laughing as I smile while Demetri just blinks at me "She's interested in guys already?" He exclaims "she's ten!"

"Oh please" scoffing "when I was her age I did way more" stopping as they look at me "not going to get into that, look just trust that our daughter isn't like us"

"What was her first word?" He asks

"I'm sorry?"

He crossed his arms "Melody's first word" my phone goes off and I answer it.

"Hello?" I smile as Violet takes my finger when I wag my finger before her.

"Hello Mrs. Ivashkov?" I hear a male voice "this is Principal Wheeny" I am going to laugh later, I'm going to laugh later "I'm afraid your daughter Melody Volturi's been suspended"

"What?" I ask "Why?"

"Your daughter has been forging student's parents signature" he tells me "I need you to come down, she's being suspended for a week"

"I'll be down there" hanging up "Felix? Do you mind watching Violet?"

"Sure" he smiles saying in a baby voice "Violet just loves spending time with her Uncle Felix. Yes she does" he tickles her and she laughs.

"I'm coming with" Demetri stands up as I stand up

I stare at him "I don't think that's a good idea"

"Why? She's our daughter" reminding me

"What I mean Demetri" how do I put this? "If your there, it might make Melody feel self conscious or now so I put this? She might say something you both will regret if you come"

"Like what?" He demands

"Dude" Felix says "I think what RJ is trying to say is that she's only had one dad, if you go in now and try to be one even though you weren't before Melody might react badly"

"It's what I did with my birth father" Demetri stares at me "I'm sorry but...maybe later we can talk about this" he nods his head as I leave.

~Time Skip~

"What did you need the money for?" I demand from Melody as I drive us home, Felix and Demetri are going to meet us back at home. I learned that my daughter has been selling her resources at being able to forge signatures for students to get out of school and stuff like that.

"I'm sorry" she mutters

"How long has this been going on?" I demand as we get home

"I don't know" shrugging her shoulders as we get out of the car "a few months"

"Months?!" Exclaiming "Melody, how did this even start?"

"I'm sorry, okay!" I open the door as she exclaims this, when we walk in we see DJ, Kimmy, Felix and Demetri here with Ramona and Jackson. What are they doing home early? "Great! You called him" she waves to Demetri crying now.
