When the bell for the end of class rang, Horikita and I stood up."Have you prepared for this, Sudou-kun?"
"What's going on?" Amikura asked.
"It was judgment day." Hirata answered him.
"Woah, are we going to watch the showdown in the student council room?" Hashimoto said excitedly.
"Honestly. Is it necessary? Showing the things the student council does is a violation of the school's privacy?" Nagumo sighed.
'So what about my privacy?'
"Yeah...I'm fine. I was born ready."
As if mentally preparing himself for what was to come, Sudou closed his eyes and crossed his arms. But then he slowly opened his eyes again.
You can call me a complete jerk and make fun of me, but it's me. If you have something to say, say it now."
"Don't do anything selfish. In fact, listening right now would be the smart thing to do, wouldn't it?"
"Ugh, you always act so high and mighty ma'am."
"When does she act all humble and modest?" Ibuki growled.
Ryuuen chuckled, "Maybe in front of her nii-san."
"Shut up," Horikita looked at them.
"Or never?" Sakayanagi has an amused smile.
When you saw them like this, it seemed like they were fighting like cats and dogs. But at least, Sudou didn't hate Horikita. If he had, I would have absolutely refused his help, no matter how advantageous his offer was.
"Do your best, Horikita-san. Sudou-kun."Horikita didn't reply at all, but Sudou raised his fist to show determination. I turned to see Sakura, who was still sitting up, her body rigid. She stood up, her lips trembling slightly.
"Yes... I'm fine. Thank you..."
Sakura was much more tense than she expected. If she was in this psychological state even before the meeting started, she may not be able to speak satisfactorily.
"I'm sorry if you felt like we were forcing you, Sakura." Sudo apologized to her.
Airi blushed, "N-no, I did it of my own free will. You don't need to apologize to me, Sudo-kun."
"Still, you were amazing. Facing Sakagami-sensei like that and Class C even if they ridiculed you." Sudo smiled shyly at him. Truly grateful.
"I just did the right thing." Airi said quietly."
Let's go. We'll give a bad impression if we're late."
The discussion was scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. It was already 15:50. We couldn't afford to take it easy. When the four of us reached the staff room, a teacher waved us inside.
"Yahoo! Hello, students of Class D!"
Class B's homeroom teacher, Hoshinomiya-sensei, gave us this happy-go-lucky greeting.
"It seems that something pretty unbelievable has happened, hmm?"
Her eyes sparkled, as if she enjoyed poking her nose into other people's business. (Well, she did.)
"That's not nice,
Ayanokoji-kun." Hoshinomiya-sensei pouted. "I was just curious, you know?"
"It's class D's business, Chie. We don't need an outsider meddling." Chabashira rebuked her harshly.
