Third-person point of view

[Present(the other chapter was as well the present]

You are now 2,700 years old. (Pretty old huh?)

-

It is now a cold, night. A cold breeze flows around Monstadt, as the tree's leaves gracefully flow on the air as if it was blown away somewhere.

The time was around midnight, and the mortals were now asleep that night. None of the houses had a single light in their houses, it was clear they were now asleep. The lights that are only on are just the street lights of Monstadt.

The wind blows out another gust of wind, making the atmosphere more comfortable.

And a house, that was still lit up in the darkness, comes to a wonder that was so called as Y/n. She owns a big house, yet she forgets about having a house. She's been living her life with short-term memory. Yet she chose to live further and further, knowing she would ditch that memory problem.

Her dull e/c eyes stare at the dark void across her room, as she breathes heavily. Creating loud breathing noises echo from her surroundings.

'What am I up to, for now?' She thought, snapping back. She shook her head slightly as her eyes widened, Y/n, who was just sitting straight on her chair. And her head facing into the darkness. She let out a long sigh before standing up, the woman walked towards the door and opened it.

She left her house for a while.

The tall woman walks around the pathway as she admires the beauty of monstadt around her, her skin glows into the moonlight. Just as she looks like a beautiful woman, her long h/c hair flows. Her elegant walk was outstanding, the woman's dress slightly bounced as she walked.

Her purpose for being outside is just about her getting fresh air, who wouldn't let a beautiful woman like her? Go out and get fresh air? Surely no one would do such a thing. Y/n reached the gates of Monstadt, seeing two guards on each side. Both of them were asleep whilst standing, the woman deadpanned as she saw the guards sleep.

'Well, they have a reason to be in a situation like this. But, it's quite dangerous to sleep in the public like this.' She thought, but the woman didn't care enough. Although it's their responsibility, not hers. The woman chuckled and walked passed the gates, on her way to Windrise, a place she only remembered.

Her small journey was very interesting,  some slimes wandered around the place, and hilichurls whom she disliked very much, were getting closer to the city which was dangerous for it. Y/n observed her surroundings, aware that something might attack her. She knew it was dangerous to go outside since it's common sense.

Y/n began to walk her way to Windrise, her favorite place. And the reason why she remembers it.

At last, Y/n was finally in Windrise. The feel of fresh air blowing gently through the gigantic tree in the middle. As a statue was right in front of the tree, it was one of the statues of the seven. Y/n stared at its beauty and, at her vision saw a boy or man. Two small braids on each side, with a calming smile on his face. His small hands holding a small orb. She stared at the statue.

'Who.. is that graceful man?' She lovingly thought, and slightly smiled at the view. Y/n walked towards the tree and sat next to it. The woman deeply inhaled the fresh air and sighed. It was a lovely night, the glowing insects around her as Monstadt were just right there, visible all the way here. She loved this place, she admired the view of Monstadt. A small smile stretched from her mouth and closed her eyes.

'A nap would be... nice.' She suggested herself and let the sleepiness take over her.

First-person point of view.

"Psst!"

"H– hey?"

"Hello!?"

A loud booming voice was near right to my ear, it was irritating. One finger tapping on my shoulder, aggressively tapping on my shoulder. A loud grunt made me annoyed. I lazily open my eyes, seeing a bard. With two black braids, but with a cyan color at the end of the braid. He had a beret, with a Cape behind him. I tilted my head in confusion as I stared right into his aqua-green eyes.

"Y/n, what 'ya doing here?" The unknown bard asked, I felt creeped out, by how he knew my name. "..." I stayed silent, not knowing what to do with an unknown bard who knew my name.

".. H— hey, answer me!?" He exclaimed as he placed his hand on his hips, pouting in anger. I felt annoyed.

"Not with that tone I am answering." I sternly replied, making eye contact with the bard who I never knew. "Why are you like this, Y/n? Did I do something bad!" He yelled with a concerned tone in his voice, his eyes widened. "...." I did not answer, the bard frowned and looked away, breaking the eye contact. "Oh come on! What did I do." He pouted, and angrily crossed his arms on his chest.

"How do you know my name." I calmly replied as I fixed my position. The young-looking bard deadpanned, his face filled with shock, and disappointingly sighed. Surprisingly he didn't answer, so, I took my time by looking around my place. Shocked why was I here?

Until the bard interrupted my thoughts by calling me—

"—You don't remember me!? I feel so heartbroken!!" He dramatically exclaimed, whilst I blankly stared at him. I glare at him for being so noisy.

"Please, don't shout that loud. Young bard." I scoffed and turned my head away from him. Giving him hints that I am annoyed and want to be alone. "Oh jeez, we just met yesterday! How could you not remember me." He said with a hint of fake sadness in his tone. I turned my head again to him, finally making eye contact. I didn't respond, all I did was stare at his features. Realizing his looks was the same as the Statue.

"What?  I.. is there something.. on my face!? A– ah!" He yelped and quickly placed his hands on his face checking everywhere on his face. "No, you airhead. I just.." I did not continue my sentence and looked away.

"You just..? Ahah.. tell me please‐" He replied quickly, with eagerness in his eyes. His palms were stuck to each other as he gave me puppy eyes.

"Why are you acting like this, we just met." I looked at him from the corner of my eye, feeling ashamed of his idiotic actions. "It's embarrassing to act like this to strangers..." I explained and sighed deeply.

"Huh, just met? No, we met yesterday, You the idiot!" He frowned once again, I slightly widened my eyes and huffed out. "Alright, then. I guess I have no choice but to believe you. But, if it's not true, I will come after you." I replied, making my tone sharp as a knife, and stood up.

"Scary~ Ehe, you got it Y/n!" He said with a playful tone and stood up with you.

"..." I realized where was I, sighing deeply with disappointment. "Oh? What's wrong, seems like you lost, huh?" He teasingly said, as one finger was on his mouth whilst giggling. ".. fine, lead me the way where Monstadt is." I said, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Alright!"
