The group of adventurers and friends walked down a man made path in a forest. Reaper held the map since this place was never traveled by her or her friends, which is why it didn't show up in their mini-maps. While leading the way, she partially listened into her friends' conversations which mostly consisted of Lunaris double checking the party's item list with Download.

You have the nets?  The Fighter asked the Warlock.

Yes.  He responded.

You also have the tents?  She asked.

All 6, yes.  He said with a nod.

Double check, please.  She told him.

I showed them to you, JUST before we left the vill-- whatever, here.  He waved his hand over his shadow and the umbra widened. He knelt down to stick his hand inside it and pulled a bundle of tents that were tied together.  Happy?

Lunaris sighed.  Look, I'm just worried that this is our VERY FIRST dungeon dive in the game, EVER. You can't blame me for being cautious.  She said with a stern tone.

Download simply shrugged as he dropped the tents back into his shade and returned it to normal.  I get it. But, ya don't have to be so paranoid. We double, rather, TRIPLE checked everything, before heading out here.

Before the Fighter could say anything, the Warlock received a nudge from Flamingo who walked beside him.  Let her be.  The Cleric told him.  It's one of the ways she shows she cares. Besides, we gotta keep you alive 'cause you're the one storing almost ALL the party loot in that shadow of yours.

Lunaris smiled.  Thanks, girl.

As they talked the Warlock suddenly started laughing and twitching like he was being tickled and Hamon's head popped out from Download's shadow.  Psst! I added more Fire Spitter Seeds in the stash.

Lunaris shouted in surprise when her boyfriend's head suddenly appeared from her friend's shadow.  YOU *******!! YOU SCARED ME!! HOW MANY TIMES DID I TELL YOU TO STOP HIDING IN PEOPLE'S SHADOWS WITH YOUR ROGUE ABILITIES?!  She basically screamed at him.

But, it's fun!  The Rogue said with childish glee.  Besides, it's like a storage room in here. There's so much stuff!  Hamon dove back into the shadow. He spoke from within the shade, but his voice sounded like a slightly muffled echo.  There's 8 backpacks, 12 small crates, 6 big crates, a **** ton of books, torches, and... drawing chalk? Woah! There's even a wagon in here! You can fit, like, 4 people in it!

Nat1, who was behind them, approached.  Yo, what? Lemme see!  He said as he used his Monk abilities to Shadow Step into Download's shadow.  Cool! It's like a hardware store in here!

HAHAHAH! OH MY ******* GODS!! GET THEM OUTTA THERE! IT TICKLES! HAHAHAHA!  Download writhed in laughter.

Caelis, who witnessed this mayhem only shook her head as she spoke up.  How're we gonna get them out NOW? They're like kids in a candy store...

Reaper looked up from the map and chuckled as she saw Download laughing his head off, as he writhed on the ground.  I've got an idea.  She said as she pulled Voyager close to whisper into his ear. The Bard nodded and started tuning his lute, before singing.

Hello, my baby! Hello, my honey! Hello, my ragtime gal! Send me a kiss by wire. Baby, my heart's on fire!

As her boyfriend sang, Reaper knelt down near the Warlock's shadow. She put on a convincing acting voice.  Yo, what?! I didn't think there was a swamp near by! It's a bunch of Crooner Frogs!

Both the heads of the Monk and the Rogue popped out from Download's shadow.  WHERE?!

Just as they came out, Lunaris pulled them by their collars and threw them out of the Warlock's shade. She tossed the Monk into a tree and her boyfriend up into the air. Nat1 crashed into the trunk, splitting it in two, while Hamon spun himself in the air before landing on the ground seamlessly.

Download finally managed to stop  laughing now that the two Shadow Stepping people were out of his umbra. Flamingo helped him to his feet as he tried to catch his breath.  That's it, edgy boy, breathe.

After some time walking, they reach their destination. Reaper looked up from her paper map and nodded to herself.  Alright, gang,  She said to call their attention.  we're here.

Before them was a large ornate cave. Runes glowed on the mouth of the cave, making it radiate with magic. They've arrived at a Dungeon.

Reaper pulled up her game menu and checked the status of her party. She was designated leader for this mission because of her abilities as a Ranger and her love for strategizing in RPGs. With a Ranger as the leader, the party was given a +5% bonus to their Dexterity stats which was a big deal, especially if they wanted to complete all the hunting achievements inside the Dungeon.

The Ranger looked to her friends and smiled.  Okay, guys. Once we enter, time will run even slower inside. Three days in the Dungeon is equivalent to one hour outside, while usually it's 3 hours in-game is one hour in IRL time. That's how deep we'll be diving for this baby.' Reaper said as she gestured the cave entrance. 'Keep in mind, even if we have time and Mana Potions, big skills and spells are reserved for emergencies and bosses ONLY.

The party members nodded in agreement. Voyager spoke up.  Don't worry, babe, we all got each other's backs.  He said, giving her a wink.

Reaper smiled at him before turning to the cave.  Let's get this party started.

Walking down the cave tunnel, their footsteps echoed along the walls. The only light they had were the torches they held up. Then, the end of the tunnel was seen and when the party went through, they found themselves in a forest. Above them was an artificial sky. This was the first floor of the Dungeon. As soon as they entered, each party member was showed a window that stated;

||          Floor 1 Missions               ||
|| • Collect 40 Hender berries  ||
|| • Defeat 100 Carakat                ||
|| • Collect 30 Carakat horns    ||
|| • Find Dungeon exit                 ||

Reaper smiled as she drew two arrows from her quiver and held them between her fingers. She looked to her friends as she relayed instructions.  A hundred Carakat is easy 'cause they always move in groups, but the drop rate of the horns isn't the best. The bigger the Carakat group, the higher the horn drop rate, so we hunt them in packs.

The Ranger gestured to the Monk and the Rogue.  Nat1, Hamon, you two run around the Dungeon floor and fill the mini-map. We need to know what our landscape is. Avoid aggro and just move out of beast territory range.  With that, the fastest members of the party nodded and sped off in different directions. As the Ranger said, the mini-map, at the corner of their views, started showing different landscapes.

Then she looked to Voyager, Caelis, and Download.  Casters, start prepping your spells. We need AOE spells for this one. DPS isn't necessary, but Range and Speed buffs will help a lot.  Then she looked to the armored ones, Lunaris and Flamingo.  Mingo, since you have the highest HP amongst us, you tank the attacks that're aimed for the Casters, but don't let the monsters gank you. Carakat have a target focus ability and the more they focus on one target, the more damage they deal. You and Lunaris need to use sweep attacks.  The Ranger pointed to the dense brush ahead of the party.  We'll give Nat1 and Hamon 5 minutes, by then, about half the map would be filled, then we head in.
