THIRD PERSON POV- THE INVASION

Anne kicked the second Calamity box, instantly sucking the temple, the amphibians and the bots back into the portal.

"Man, that was easy." Anne said, waving to the frogs being sucked in.

"Yeah!" Marcy raised a fist, dusk dawning on them.

They heard cheers from below, though it was likely nobody knew what was going on, they appreciated it.

The portal closed with Sasha and Marcy waving quick goodbyes to their surrogate amphibian families.

"I'm going to miss them." Anne remarked.

Marcy gave a sympathetic look before coming closer to Anne, rubbing her shoulders from behind.

"We will too, and we got your back." Sasha reasoned.

"Thanks." Anne hugged the two, giving Marcy a quick peck on the cheek.

They noticed a faint glow when Anne's scar on her waist touched Marcy's chest.

"ANNE, HOLD ON, I JUST SAW SOMETHING!" Marcy pumped.

"What's that?" She questioned, pulling away.

"This might hurt, but lean the scars together."

Anne raised a brow, but decided not to question it and did so.

they glowed again.

"OOH, THEYRE LIKE TORCHES!" Anne screamed.

"See?" Marcy gestured with her hand.

Early stars set out as Anne slowly dropped the calm and empty road below her as her powers faded.

Sasha and Marcy fell gently alongside her.

"Try with all three!" Marcy suggested.

It didn't work.

"I think there's a limited amount of times you can use it every day." She wondered.

"Probably." Sasha shrugged.

"Let's go home, that's enough for today." Anne concluded.

Sasha nodded and crossed the road, waving her hand.

"Toodles!" Marcy lifted her hand.

The sky got darker as they turned and opened the house door to be greeted by Domino.

Marcy leaned down to pick her up, letting Anne have a quick pat before scruffing the fur on top of Domino's head.

She quickly dropped the cat and made her way upstairs.

"Day two!" Marcy laughed.

"Yup!" Anne quickly brought out a sheet from the wardrobe and roughly tucked it around Marcy's mattress.

Marcy dug out the blanket from her bag, the same one from the sleepover in Amphibia, and layed it out on the bed.

Anne threw one of her pillows upwards to Marcy. "Take one of mine!"

Marcy nodded and caught it, setting it down on the mattress.

"Night!" Marcy closed her eyes and layed down.

"Goodnight." Anne got up and turned off the lights.

As soon as Marcy flopped down, she was engulfed in Anne's scent, the one she had grown to love.

She smiled and snuggled closer to the pillow, falling asleep within minutes.

After a few minutes of silence, Anne felt her phone vibrate from beneath her pillow.
