THIRD PERSON POV- IN THE CASTLE
Anne heard another much closer thud.
"RUN MARCY!" She yelled, her hair slowly turning light blue, with much more twigs and leaves.
"THE ONLY EXITS ARE THE ONE ANDRIAS IS BLOCKING AND THE-" Marcy stopped and lowered her voice.
"The- balcony." She continued.
"TRY THE BAL-"
THUD.
Suddenly, the green gem from the Calamity Box on the pedestal next to her glowed and hit Marcy- but not with pain.
With power.
Calamity power, to be exact.
"Woah- Mars-" Anne gasped.
I can fight instead!" Marcy exclaimed.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?" She said. "YOU JUST GOT THEM!"
"I'll be fine!" she replied, now fully transformed.
The doorknob twisted.
THUD.
Andrias.
Both Anne and Marcy instinctively started floating.
"Go for his eyes," Anne instructed.
"You go left, I'll go right."
Andrias didn't hear them, but did he sure try to give them a mouthful before they punched him.
Anne high-fived her with her free hand.
Andrias rubbed his eyes after the punches and groaned in pain.
He smirked and grabbed the flame sword out of his armor.
It took everything in Marcy to not gasp or trace the scar on her chest.
"Need help reopening that wound?" Andrias flipped the switch, sending a hot blaze of fire above the base of the sword.
Andrias closed the eye Anne had punched. She must be strong.
Andrias pointed the sword at Marcy.
Maybe what he said was too literal.
"NO!" Anne yelled and jumped in front of her.
Andrias had stabbed Anne.
Andrias looked at Anne's limp and unconscious body. "My work here is done." He said, closing the door behind him.
Anne's blue hair and twigs faded, her hair was back to the familiar brown.
"ANNE!" Marcy wailed.
"Wake up! Anne? ANNE!" Marcy yelled, almost choking on tears.
Anne forgave Marcy, but boy would Marcy NOT forgive Andrias.
Marcy layed Anne's body on her crossed legs.
"Anne, please," Her voice got softer.
Marcy tried to listen to Anne's heartbeat.
Marcy couldn't be more thankful that Andrias missed her chest.
Instead, it was on the edge of her waist.
Anne couldn't hear her or open her eyes, but by her heartbeat, Marcy could tell Anne was still alive.
Marcy hugged the limp body. "Please wake up."
she let Anne down, still holding her in her arms.
Marcy looked desperately for another sign of life or movement.
Marcy looked down at Anne's lips.
Marcy hesitated, but this was her last resort, and heck would it be a good one.
She let her eyes flutter shut.
She brought their faces close and kissed her.
She was honestly and extremely shocked when she felt Anne kiss back.
Both sides cherished the moment, and they never wanted it to end.
Marcy felt Anne's hand reach up for Marcy's face, cupping her cheek and pulling her closer, feeling her smile into the kiss.
They didn't want to, but they pulled away, smiling.
"ANNE! YOU'RE ALIVE!" Marcy squealed, shaking her.
Anne surely felt alive thanks to Marcy.
"I love you," She thought out loud, slamming her hand off of Marcy's face and onto her mouth, her face growing extremely warm.
Marcy took a few moments to process what Anne had said and laughed, blushing.
"Don't worry! I love you too." she pulled an ear-to-ear smile.
"You- you do?"
Marcy stood up, Anne still in her arms, who smiled and laughed. "Of course! Was it not obvious?"
Anne blushed.
"Okay, but seriously, we need to get you a doctor." her Calamity powers faded.
"Fair enough." Anne agreed.
THIRD PERSON POV- OUTSIDE THE CASTLE.
"We're here." Marcy stood outside the front gates, spotting Sasha, Polly and Sprig.
"Marcy!" Sasha yelled, ecstatic.
"Sash! Where's the nearest doctor?
"About ten minutes from here," Sasha replied.
"We better start walking then," Marcy concluded, looking around Newtopia, searching for a First Aid sign.
"Anne needs one. I guess she's okay for the most part though, she wasn't that affected."
Marcy and Sasha both heard a small snore from Anne, who had fallen asleep in Marcy's arms.
Marcy's face grew flustered.
"We'll catch you up on everything soon." Marcy chuckled nervously.
(A/N) Ok this chapter was probably the most fun to write! Next one will come soon!
