Caught You (short chapter srry)

 
  Lena POV:

   I'm walking around Catco trying to memorize and map out the empire in my head, when I started to walk back to my office I heard a familiar voice. Kara, she was on the phone with someone.

  "Yes I know, I can't wait to see you tonight! Well I have to get to work, Alex. Oh, before I hang up. I love the new sweater you bought, it's in my loft, so your gonna have to pick it up. I know, I love you, bye."

  Kara hangs up the phone and continues to type on her computer. Kara is taken? She hasn't mentioned that, well I've only known her for 3 days so I guess it probably wouldn't have been something to be brought up in a conversation. I wait a few more seconds before I continue to finish the walk to my office, 5 minutes later Kara knocks on the wall and walks in.

  "A man on the phone said he had to speak to you, business proposal he said." I groan and go to the transferred line picking up the phone listening to him talk, and hanging up after a few seconds. "No." I say out loud and continue to do paperwork.

-20 minutes later-

 
   I need Kara to take some papers to the front desk, I would, but I'm simply too busy. After sending an email and not getting a response I call out her name, still nothing. I get up and walk to her desk only to see her asleep. She's sprawled out across her desk with a pen in her hand and her glasses sitting beside her arm, I walk around to her chair and place an arm on her shoulder.

"Kara." I said and she gently wakes up, siting up she looks at me then her eyes go wide. "I'm so sorry for sleeping! I'm usually so awake, but I haven't had coffee yet.." She says apologizing. I chuckle and rub her back for a second, "It's alright Miss Danvers, next time, coffee." I say with a soft chuckle and walk back to my office.
