I was in my room putting on my make up, I decided to dress something casual for our date, our first official date actually. I was really excited.
I decided to go downstairs, to ask Mom if she had a purse that matches with my outfits but I stopped when I heard sounds from the living room, my face got serious, did mom and dad invited guests?
I walked downstairs slowly, they were sitting on the couch and I could've seen everything from the third step, mom was laughing at some joke Monty told while Dad was looking at him aggressively. Wait... Monty? Here? On the couch? Talking with my family? WHAT?
...... "Montgomery's POV" I drove the Jeep to y/n's house. I was so nervous for our date, it was already 5 PM but she hasn't come out yet, God what if she forgot? No she doesn't forget about our date. What if something happened and she couldn't tell me? Is that really possible?.
God Monty please relax. I took a deep breath and check myself to the mirror once again. I wore a regular outfit, just a shirt with jacket and jeans.

I checked the time again then realized that I can't stand more, so I got off the Jeep and moved to the door knocking on it. I mean I had to meet y/n's parents someday right? I took a deep breath and waited, the door got open, I saw Hannah behind it, she was in her work uniform, her hand was still on the doorknob when shock filled her expression.
"Montgomery?" I nodded and let myself in. Hannah raised an eyebrow at me but I didn't care.
"Hannah, who was that honey?" Some woman came, she was like Hannah but not like y/n so much, I guess she was their mother.
"Hi I'm Olivia Baker, and you're?" She offered her hand, I took it kiss the top of it politely, she chuckled lightly, her chuckle is like y/n though. I like it.
"My name is Montgomery de la Cruz ma'am, it's so nice to finally meet you." "Well, come in." She said with a little smile on the corner of her lips, she was surprised but I kinda had a good first impression.
I moved to their living room and sat on one of the couches while Olivia went to the kitchen maybe grab a coffee or something.
"Olivia did you see my..." A man came in, he was middle forty, his nose was like y/n, he had a normal body shape kinda fit for his age. He got quite when he saw me in the living room. He must be y/n's dad. I stood up and walk through him offering my hand.
"Hello sir, I'm Montgomery, you can call me Monty." "Monty, what on Earth did get you here?" He asked moving his gaze to Hannah, I got what was on his mind and uh hell no.
He didn't shake my hand so I just stepped back, dropping it. "I'm here to take y/n out sir, with you permission of course."
I said looking down. "You don't need my permission Montgomery, you're not gonna marry her." I nodded and sat down, woah, scary. Mrs Baker came with a cup of coffee and homemade chocolate chips cookies. I thanked her as I drunk a sip of mine.
