August POV
(September 26,2006)
17 𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓼 𝓪𝓰𝓸My eyes laid upon Khalida's enchanting figure for the very first time at the age of eleven, as my family began our venture towards Wind Peak - a quaint town nestled in the heart of Delaware.
As we strolled through the quaint streets of the neighborhood, the warmth and hospitality of the community enveloped us. Just as we reached the end of the road, my attention was drawn towards a family who was away, but little did I know, someone else had noticed me.
We have relocated a few houses down from hers, and yet, I can still see her from my current position. My family and I are in the process of unloading the boxes from the transport truck into our new, dark mahogany brick, two-story home. I am pleased with our decision to move and am confident that we will enjoy our new surroundings.
In the interim, I found myself positioned outside with my six-year-old sister, Avianna, who was fervently expressing her desire to switch schools. It was during this moment that I chanced upon an individual calling out the name of Khalida. I must say, I wholeheartedly approve of this new move.
After putting the things in my boxes away and getting the things out of there for me to take them back
The name resounded in my thoughts like a recently acquired melody, echoing repeatedly. The count exceeded 57,000 before my eyelids eventually grew heavy, and I finally drifted off to sleep, dreaming of her.
———————————————————————The Next Day
My mother Ameena woke me up at 7:30am, and even though it was already a month into the school year, I knew I had to prepare myself for the inevitable question of being the new kid. It was unfortunate that I had missed the beginning of the school year, but I was determined to make the most of it and catch up quickly.
I woke up this morning and decided to take a shower. I walked into the bathroom, turned on the water and waited for it to heat up. Once it was hot enough, I stepped into the shower and began my skin care routine. I brushed my teeth and flossed, making sure to take care of my oral hygiene. It felt good to start the day off with a clean and refreshed feeling.
I turned on my Apple Music and played Romantic lover by Eyedress before heading to the shower. The water slid over my body, warming my fingers as I ran my hands through my hair.
I applied my exfoliating body scrub and added some Bath and Body Works Ocean scent to it. As I washed my body, the refreshing fragrance of the ocean filled my senses and the water flowed over my skin. It was a truly invigorating experience that left me feeling refreshed and revitalized.
After turning off the hot shower water, I reached for the thick grey towel that was neatly placed on the counter. Wrapping it around my body, I made my way out of the upstairs bathroom and headed towards my room down the hall.
I walked over to my closet and picked out my grey sweatpants. After applying spray deodorant, I put on my black pro club shirt and sprayed on some Bleu de Chanel cologne. Finally, I added my silver chain to complete the outfit. It was a great choice for the day.
Before heading down stairs to grab food I stopped and put on my black cat 4s that we're a Christmas present from my grandma Lola. On my way down the stairs getting stopped by my father Niko to hold my 2 year old little brother Azazel who is now finally stopped crying.
Walking through the door to the kitchen I spotted my mother Ameena standing by the stove cooking eggs with French toast waffles including sausage and hash browns. Sitting my brother Azazel in the high chair I walked over the my mother and told her it was time to go to the new school Skyrim middle school.
