Finn put Leo in his bed and tucked him in. He closed the door slightly and made his way to his bedroom. It was 9:32pm, and Finn was exhausted from looking after Leo today. Finn placed himself in his bed and turned his lamp off, and fell asleep.
At 2:46 a.m., Finn woke up to Leo’s cries. He takes a deep breath in and gets out of his warm duvet, and carries his body sluggishly to Leo's bedroom. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Finn says, yawning in between and sitting down next to Leo. Leo points to his head, and Finn tilts his head in confusion. "Ick," Leo says. "Did you have a bad dream?" Finn asks, trying to help comfort the mentally smaller. Leo nodded in Finn's shoulders, and Finn drew circles on his back.
"How about you stay in Finny's room tonight so you don't get any more nightmares?" Leo nodded again in Finn's shoulder. Finn carries Leo to his bedroom and lays him down, tucking him in. Finn gets back into the duvet and falls back to sleep.
7:47am
Leo woke up not feeling little anymore. He freaks out as he isn't in his own room, then he realises. He sat up and looked around, noticing that it was Finn's room. "Good morning, you sleep okay?" Finn says as he walks in his bedroom with a plate of toasted waffles. "Morning, I slept alright," Leo says, rubbing his eyes as he yawns. "I made you breakfast. You were really tired from crying last night, hm?" Finn says, sitting next to Leo. "Yeah, I guess so," Leo replies. "How about we both go to a café, or something today, to help your mind get off it?" Finn suggests smiling. "I'd like that," Leo mumbles, trying not to turn red. "Let's get ready, and we can get going, so we can go there for lunch." Finn says, and Leo stretches and gets out of bed once he finishes the toasted waffles.
Leo makes his way to his bedroom and sits down on his bed. He decides on what to wear and gets ready. Finn was already downstairs waiting for Leo. "How did you get ready so quickly?" Leo says, shocked. "I've been waiting for you to come down for about 20 minutes," Finn replies, laughing. "I have to wear good clothes," Leo said. "Are you all ready?" Finn asks as Leo nods.
They both get into Finn's car and buckle up. Finn began to drive, and Leo felt sleepy. "You can sleep if you want," Finn says after he notices his friend constantly yawning and rubbing his eyes. "No, I'm alright," Leo mumbles, trying to wake himself up. "I'll wake you up when we get there. '' Finn replies, Leo let out a small nod and dozed off into a deep sleep. Finn knew he would be tired after last night.
An hour later, Leo and Finn got to the cafè car park. Finn woke Leo up, and they got out of the car and both stretched. Leo held onto Finn's hand out of nervousness. "Are you alright?" Finn asks, concerned. "I'm fine," Leo says, sighing. They both walked into the café and sat at a two-seater table. Finn ordered a Caesar salad, and Leo got a ham and cheese sandwich. They waited for their food for 20 minutes. Leo sat in the chair timidly. He wanted to tell Finn something, but he wasn't sure how to say it without sounding awkward. "Are you okay, Leo?" Finn asks, tilting his head. "Just need to tell you something, but I don't know how to," Leo replies, mumbling. "Take your time. There's no need to rush," Finn said as Leo nodded. Leo cracked his knuckles in nervousness.
"Finn, I um I." Leo tries to pull himself to say it and not be scared. Finn looks at him, tilting his head again. "Are you feeling alright?" He asks. Leo nodded and kept his head down, not even touching his food until he knew what he wanted to say. "Finn, w-would you want t-to be um my c-caregiver?" Leo asks with teary eyes. "Is this what has been on your mind?" Finn replies, and Leo lets out another nod. "Of course, I'd love to," Leo's face lit up when Finn said those words. He couldn't believe Finn said 'yes'. Leo let out a wide grin any began eating his sandwiches.
A little while later, they walked out both happy. Leo held onto Finn's hand and skipped along the pavement. "How about we go to the shop and get you something?" Finn suggests. "Are you sure?" Leo mumbles. "Of course," Finn said. They got back into the car, and Finn drove to the shop.
