Once Finn and Leo arrived at the store, they got out and made their way in. Leo was excited to get something new, he felt like getting a new stuffie today. Leo dragged Finn to the stuffie aisle of the store and let go of Finn's hand running. "Leo, wait up, you can run off" Finn says, trying to catch his breath. Leo stands in front of a shelf with something he wanted. "Finny, this one" Leo pointed to a giant elephant with a pink bow on one of the ears. Finn gets the elephant off the shelf and passes it to Leo. "This is the one," Finn says as Leo reaches out to hold his hand. They make their way to the self check out and Finn buys the stuffie. "Thank you Finny" Leo says as he snuggles into the stuffie. "What are you going to name your new stuffie?" Finn asks. "I fink Lola" Leo replies, not realising he slipped. "That's a cute name for her," Finn said as he buckled Leo up in the back seat of the car.
Both of them got back home and Finn saw the parcels he ordered a few days ago with the stuffies he bought Leo. "Leo, I got you a present a few days ago and it's just arrived" Finn said as Leo rushed into the kitchen. Leo opens the packages and a smile grows on his face. "Fank you so much" he says hugging Finn then rushing back to his bedroom. "Be careful Leo" Finn chuckles as he hears Leo stomp up the stairs in excitement. The time was currently 15:23 pm and Finn decided to check up on Leo to see what he is doing.
Finn walks up the stairs and hears little snores. He opens Leo's bedroom door and sees him asleep on the floor in a pile of stuffies. Finn picks him up and puts Leo in his bed tucking him in. 'Must have had a long day' Finn thought to himself. He grabbed Leo's paci and placed it in his mouth as Leo cuddled up to his stuffie. Finn placed a kiss on his forehead and smiled, walking out of the bedroom making his way downstairs.
Finn's phone rang and it was his friend Lia.
F: Hey Lia, how are you?
L: I'm doing good, how are you?
F:Yeah doing great
L: Are you living with Leo still?
F:Yeah, he's just sleeping at the moment
L:We should meet up one point, me, you and Leo
F: That would be nice
L:I also have someone that I want you to meet too
F:Sounds exciting, do you want to come to mine on Saturday?
L:Of course, I have no plans anyway. So I'll see you then
F:See you then, bye
L:Bye
Finn hangs up the phone, he hadn't seen Lia in a year. But they were best friends so they would constantly message each other every once in a while. He just had to wait for Leo to wake up to tell him. Finn wondered who Lia was going to introduce to him. He walked back to the kitchen, as he was going to get started on dinner. Finn was making a spaghetti bolognese for them both tonight.
30 minutes later, Finn heard small footsteps coming down the stairs. Leo made his way into the kitchen to smell the food. "Morning sleepyhead" Finn says, letting out a small laugh. "Morning," Leo replies. "You remember Lia right?" Finn asks, just cutting to the point. "Yeah why?" Leo mumbles rubbing his eyes. "She's coming over Saturday and wants to introduce someone to us," Finn said. "Okay, that's fine" Leo says in a sleepy voice as he makes a glass of orange squash. Leo sat at the table drinking the squash to help him wake up. As Finn was dishing up the dinner, Leo was reading a book he needed to finish. His glasses kept annoying him and falling off, he never wore them unless he was reading. Finn placed Leo's plate in front of him and the book and glasses were put to the side. "Thank you" Leo said as he began to eat his food.
After eating their meal, Leo washed everything up as Finn made the dinner. Finn was upstairs showering which left Leo in an empty room. Leo set all of the clean dishes back in the cupboard after drying them all, and all the clean utensils. He made his way back over to the table washing it down then drying it. He sat at the table opening his book again and putting his glasses on his face. Leo zoned out at this point not even paying attention to the book. He didn't feel like slipping so why was he zoning out? Finn tapped Leo on the shoulder "Are you alright?" He asks, Leo nods, closing the book. "Do you want to go to the shop and get some dessert?" "Yeah sure, I'll just get my shoes on" Leo replies getting out of the chair.
Leo left the house, and began walking down the road forgetting he left his glasses on. He felt so tired even though he had a nap earlier. 10 minutes later, Leo got to the shop and was looking around for something sweet that he and Finn loved. He found the chocolate cake and was looking for custard. He found it, picked it up and paid. He walked out of the shop and made his way home. He checked his phone and saw that the time was 17:43 pm.
Leo got home five minutes later, and walked in the house to go into the kitchen. He saw Finn standing there, staring into space. "Finn, are you okay?" Leo asks concerned. "Oh yeah, sorry just zoned out" Finn replies. "I got chocolate cake and custard for us and we can warm it up" Leo says, placing the bag on the kitchen counter as he got both of the items out. He cut a slide of cake for him and Finn and put it on 2 separate plates, then put a lot of custard on both plates. He puts one in the microwave and sets the timer to a minute. Leo walks up to Finn and hugs him. "Leo?" Finn says. "You look like you need a hug" Finn wraps his arms around Leo and smiles. "Thanks"
The microwave beeped and Leo swapped the plates, "Here this will make you feel better" Leo says, giving the plate to Finn with a fork. They both sat down at the table eating the warm chocolate cake and custard. After that they both sat watching TV till 11pm and then went to bed.
