Dai Shiyuan was playing with her phone and didn't disturb the female lead.

When the female lead finished eating and was cleaning up the dishes, Dai Shiyuan immediately put down her phone and cleared her throat, saying, "Teacher Shan, you don't have to stay with me tonight. I can take care of myself. If anything happens, I will call the doctor and nurses."

Shan Yaxin paused in her actions upon hearing this, her eyes filled with disbelief. She quickly sat down by the bed and advised, "I'm your sister-in-law, taking care of you is what I should do. How can I leave you alone in the hospital? If this comes up in the future, your father will blame me for sure."

Dai Shiyuan was momentarily stumped and didn't know how to respond.

She didn't expect the female lead to come up with so many counterarguments instantly, all of them in the guise of being good for her.
