Jin knew something was wrong. He'd felt the sharp sting in his neck. A sign that one of his packmates was in danger.

But who?

He was home alone at the moment. To say he was freaking out was an understatement. Someone was in trouble. The last time this had happened was when Taehyung was in trouble and then Namjoon sniffed him down at Jungkook's apartment.

Frantically, Jin grabbed the telephone. Before he could dial, Jimin and Taehyung burst in through the front door, panting.

"Hyung, you're okay. Thank goodness!" Taehyung cried out in relief.

"We contacted Hoseok. He's in the office. He's fine but he's freaking out too. We couldn't reach Yoongi, Namjoon, or Jungkook. Did you call them, hyung?"

"No Jimin. I didn't," Jin cried, dialing Namjoon's number first, then Yoongi's, then Jungkook's, each going through voicemail.

Jin slammed the telephone down making the other two jump.

Jin hissed as his neck burned again. Taehyung's eyes were wide and filled with tears. Without a word, Jimin shifted into his wolf form and disappeared out the door.

"Hyung, someone is hurt," Taehyung's distressed voice reached Jin's ears.

"I know. Don't worry. It'll be okay. Everything will—"

"Hyung! Jin-hyung, Help!" Jin heard Namjoon and Yoongi yell as they barged in, an unconscious Jungkook in their leader's arms.

"What the fuck happened?" Jin demanded as he rushed forward and took the unconscious boy in his arms, before laying him onto a couch. The younger's clothes were ripped, his ankle bleeding.

"Some fucking were attacked him in the woods. Nearly killed him. If were a few seconds late, it would would have ripped his throat out!" Yoongi explained rather shakily and Taehyung went white beside him. Jimin stood at the doorway like a statue, taking in the sight before him.

Jin growled, rage clouding his senses when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Hyung, you need to stay calm or you won't be able to heal him. Please, hyung. Jungkook's here now. We have to focus on healing him," Namjoon pleaded, trying his best to sound calm and Jin nodded in agreement.

Taking a deep breath, the oldest let his eyes droop close. Jin placed his hand on the Jungkook's bloody ankle, just as Hoseok burst into the room.

"Fuck...Kookie! What the hell happened?"

Ignoring him, Jin continued to rub his thumb across the wound. He heard the younger whimper in pain and squirm slightly beneath him.

"Namjoon," Jin began, but Namjoon had already moved away from Jin's side, holding the younger and whispering soothing words in his ear.

Jin's palm began to burn and slowly, the skin sealed up, leaving behind an ugly scar.

"What the hell happened?" Hoseok demanded again, his eyes flashing red.

"A were attacked him. Would have killed him if we were a second late," Yoongi growled and paced the room.

"I'll kill it!" Hoseok cried, venom dripping from his voice.

"I already did," Namjoon spoke and everyone, expect Yoongi, turned to look at him in shock. Silence filled the room but Namjoon's face showed no sign of remorse as his gaze met the shocked ones of his members.

"His teeth were inches away from my pup's neck. Inches! Look at what he did to Jungkook's ankle. He could have killed Jungkook. He would have killed my pup. He messed with my pack. He messed with my pup! No one, I repeat, no one hurts my pup or my pack!" Namjoon yelled and slammed his fist into the wall.

"Hyung," a weak voice cried out and they all turned to see Jungkook looking at Namjoon with tear-filled doe eyes, "Don't, please."

"Oh pup," Namjoon sighed, pulling Jungkook into his arms as the younger sobbed, "Hyung didn't mean to scare you. I'm so sorry."

"No. Just don't h-hurt y-yourself please. It hurts m-me."

"I won't," Namjoon promised, kissing the younger's forehead and thumbing away his tears.

"Jungkook, are you okay? Does it hurt?" Jin asked, cupping the pup's face.

"Not much. Thank you for healing me."

"You're welcome. Don't you ever scare me like that again. You hear me? Don't give hyung a heart attack. I'm too young and handsome to die," Jin complained and Jungkook giggled. Namjoon smiled as he rested a hand on Seokjin's waist.

"Never again, hyung," Jungkook vowed.

"Good."

"Taehyungie-hyung," Jungkook cried, making grabby hands at Taehyung who stood, crying silently and Taehyung launched himself into the younger's arms, crying into the younger's shoulder.

"He a-almost k-killed you," Taehyung sobbed.

"I'm still here, hyung. Namjoon-hyung and Yoongi-hyung saved me."

Jungkook felt another pair of arms wrap around him and turned to see Jimin, cheeks streaked with tear stains.

"Please don't cry. I don't like seeing you cry."

"Oh, Kookie. You're so precious. We were so scared. We still are because we nearly lost you today. We're sorry we couldn't protect you," Hoseok cried, kneeling down before the maknae line, who were cuddled up on the couch.

"I'm so sorry, pup. I—" Yoongi began but Jungkook cut him off.

"Stop apologising. If it wasn't for you, I would have been killed. You saved me and Jin-hyung, you healed me. You all have done so much for me. I can't thank you enough. You gave me a home and a family. Something that I always longed to have," Jungkook burst out.

"19 years! I spent 19 years in a cruel world and then you guys came and turned my life around. In a month, you have cared for me and loved me more than my own father could. So don't you dare apologize. Don't!" Jungkook cried, tears spilling down his cheeks, "I love you so much, hyungs."

There wasn't a dry eye in the room and as they all cuddled up in bed later that night, Jungkook couldn't help but smile as he thought of his hyungs, of his newfound family.
