It had been three weeks since Jungkook moved in with the pack and they had been nothing but supportive. Jungkook loved it there. It had honestly been like a dream come true for him.

While Jungkook was studying, Taehyung and Jimin would check on him every hour to see how he was doing and they'd remind him to take a fifteen minute break every now and then. They'd drag him downstairs and make him play video games with them.

When Hoseok felt like the younger was stressed, he'd cuddle the younger and release calming pheromones or he'd just be his goofy self and make Jungkook laugh.

Jin would drag the younger downstairs to eat or just sit and speak to them. He'd scold the younger whenever he found the boy sitting at the desk, face buried in his books, fingers twisted in his hair before gently pulling his fingers away from his hair and massaging the younger's scalp.

"Don't hurt yourself," he'd whisper a reminder and press a kiss to Jungkook's head.

Yoongi and Namjoon would greet him and engage him in a small talk but Jungkook knew that despite everything, they still had their doubts about him.

He couldn't blame them though. He knew he would be a big hypocrite if he did.

Jungkook was pulled out of his thoughts when the rustling of leaves reached his ears. It was half past five in the evening and he was walking back home after finishing his class.

The path through the woods was rather lonely but it was the shortest way back that Jungkook knew of. Halting in his steps, Jungkook looked around for signs of a squirrel or a bunny or some other small animal. All he saw around were tree trunks and thick bushes.

He continued his walk thinking he'd probably imagined it when the unmistakable snapping of a twig was heard.

"Is someone there?" Jungkook called out, his heart thumping against his chest.

Something was wrong. Something felt really wrong.

A shadowy figure emerged from behind a bush. Red eyes glowing in the shadows of the woods. Jungkook's eyes widened and his heart skipped a beat as the figure stepped out into the light, its teeth glinting as it snarled, it's face scarred, blood red eyes fixed on him hungrily.

The wolf was huge, Jungkook noted.

Emphasis on the huge!

Before Jungkook could register anything, the wolf lunged towards him.
