V: LIES AFTER LIES.

JAKE'S POV.

While walking with Ris, I asked him what happened that day in the playground.

He just said that they argued and Jade raised his voice that makes him cry.

Now i know what ada talking about, it's my brother.

She saw my brother fighting with his lover boy, what a mess.

"Why'd you ask?" He asked.

"Uhm, there's just a little girl who saw you two that day and he thought it was me."

"Oh, a little girl saw us? is she okay?" He seems worried.

"No." I coldly answered him.

Phone's ringing.

I thought it was his and i didn't bother to check mine.

"Aren't you going to pick up?" He said.

I looked at him while reaching for my phone with an embarrassed look.

Then, i picked up the call.

"Hey, it's Nurse Dan."

"Hey, how's Ada?"

"She's sleeping."

"Feeling better?"

"Me?"

"No, I mean Ada is she okay?"

"Oh, yes she is."

"Okay, that's good."

I'm about to hang up, but he said that Ada was waiting for me all day.

I just said that I'd surprise her by visiting her tomorrow.

Call ended.

"I'm off now.", Ris said this right after I ended my call with Nurse Dan.

"Wait, you haven't eaten yet right?" I said.

"Don't worry, i can manage." Then his tummy started growling.

"Your tummy says you are lying."

He smirked and i laughed at him.

"Okay, fine if you insist." He said.

I told him to wait for a bit because I had to take my car first out of the parking lot.

"Ris." I called him so he could ride in the car.

"Where are we heading now?" I asked.

"Let me look for a diner." He said, but then he failed.

"We don't have a choice but to go to my house instead; is it okay?"

"No problem." He answered.

We are heading back to my house now to have dinner there instead.

While I'm driving i noticed that he is searching for music to play with his earphones.

"Ris."

He just raised his eyebrows as response.

"You can use this to play music." I pointed to the car amplifier.

I teach him how to use it, and I am impressed that he is able to get it so quickly.

"What are you listening to?" I asked.

"I personally love The rose" He said.

"Baby I'm falling for you, i love you, Our love is true~" I sang.

"You are good, huh?" He jokingly said.

"How'd you say that?" I asked.

"You are just way different from your twin, though you are identical twins." He answered.

"That's what everyone says." I said.

While playing The Rose playlist, our conversation got deeper, and he told me that I am quite interesting because we have a lot in common unlike my twins, who barely have a closure when it comes to The Rose.

We are even singing back-to-back and dueting while riding in the car, and he said that this is what he wants to do with him.

We just arrived at my house, and it's quite late for dinner.

I told him to take a nap on the couch while waiting for me, but he said he would want to help me.

But i said no he don't have to, but he said he will only feel bad that i already helped him a lot and he doesn't want to cost me more.

I don't have a choice but to let him help me.

So, I told him to chop those solid ingredients.

After a while of mixing the soup, he suddenly shouted and I immediately went to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I just cut myself." He said.

"Let me see." I grabbed his hand.

It's not that deep, but I take him to the living room so I can treat it immediately so it won't leave scars.

Upon cleaning his wound, a teardrop hits my hand.

It's his.

"Hey?! Does it hurt badly?" I asked him gently.

But in an instant he started crying loudly.

I couldn't do anything because i felt bad.

I want to comfort him, but what is holding me back is that he is my twin's lover, and I don't want him to misunderstand me.

I was tapping his back and suddenly he looked at me.

"Why did you have to lie?" He asked.

"Lie?" I pretend.

"Stop! I know you know that your twin's cheating on me, right?" He's raging.

"I'm sorry."

I'm stunned.

He opened up everything, and I found out that the girl was his best friend, and he just wanted to make up with him because he loves him very much, but I crossed the line and got involved with them.

In fact, he is waiting my twin to tell him the truth all along.

That he was the reason why he is in that bridge that night.

"I'll go." He said.

"But you haven't eaten yet."

Then, we resume what we started and eat at the same time.

I offered him a ride and he said no.

"Just until i get you to the bus stop." I said.

I feel bad that I can't even talk to him.

He was pure, and yet he's in love with a playboy.

We arrived at the bus stop, he then got off.

"Take care." I said.

I drove a block and waited behind him in the dark area until he rode the bus.

At my house,

I already got a shower and am now reading books at my bed.

While reading books, I realized everything. Ris is suffering, and I see that even though I just met him.

So i texted my brother.

"When are you going to end this?"

He replied, "Chill bro, It's none of you business."

Fuck! How can he even say that?
