RIS'S POV.

On the bus, I was crying all the way home, feeling bad and sad because I let my emotions come first, and for some reason I felt bad that I vented my anger to Jake.

after a few minutes I arrived at my apartment.

It was a very long day for me, and when I arrived at my apartment, I just laid down and cried, still thinking that it would feel better once I fell asleep.

In the morning, my phone rings loudly.

"Hello?" I answered the call.

"Ris, come with me today!" My best friend yelled at me in excitement.

"Okay." I said.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"Yes." I answered.

"Okay, I just feel cold over you; I'll be waiting at the café nearby."

Then i dropped the call.

I was unable to become passionate this time because how could I hang out with my rival?

I was planning to end this day, but doing this will cost me more than her.

We have been friends for more than ten years, but I didn't know that this would be the only reason for the loss of our friendship.

And I don't want to waste that; I'll try my best to correct this path even if I have to sacrifice myself.

I don't want to loss either of them.

I met her at the café and now we are heading to the mall.

At first, it feels uncomfortable, but as we spend time together, I just feel somehow better and we were shopping all around, and now that we are tired, I asked to use the comfort room first.

"Elle, can i go to the comfort room?" I told her.

"Sure, be quick." She said.

I'm looking in the comfort room's mirror and seeing myself smile feels weird, knowing that I am not supposed to smile.

Phone vibrates.

It's a sign of text message.

"Hey, when are you going to start your work?" Boss.

"I'll be there sir, please wait?"

"10 minutes, only 10." Boss said.

I rushed to Elle and told her that I needed to go now.

"Elle, i have to go to my workplace now?"

"Wait for me, please, just 15 minutes." She said.

I waited for her for almost 20 minutes, and because of that, I asked her if I could go first because I have to work.

"Uhm, Elle, Can i go first?" I asked.

But she was disappointed.

"Is your work more important than your best friend?" she fouled me.

"Wait, I am just asking for your consideration. Elle, you don't have to say that."

"Asking? No, you are not asking because you are trying to leave me, right?" She said.

"No, please, not that way." I exclaimed.

"Am i even your friend?" She asked then walked out.

I felt-no, it wasn't just a feeling; it was a whole dang thing hitting my soul.
