The Brethren: hello Snowy.

Snowy: hello?

Narrator: Tracy thought Snowy how have you been?

Narrator: Tracy spoke this is a little different from what you are used to isn't it?

Carolina: you are a 4th year law student who has been the unfortunate guests of that animal over there. No please don't kill him we have something far worse in mind for him. Actually you remember that concoction that he fed you with? Well we want you to feed him with it as much as he will drink. You do know how to use a blender? And oh yes stay away from that cupcake over there with all the weeds around it you can have some of these while you are working.

Snowy: I might have to tell you something I don't want you shocked.

Tracy: Snowy that is what we call the Brethren they talk to us through their thoughts. But they are the reason you are here. Now you add a cup of that powder over there to a quart of water blend it for a while. Then you feed it to Charles. Charles is very hungry. He has a lot of work to do to give a body to his next victim.

Snowy: that weed over there it's moving.

Tracy: very perceptive of you. Now look carefully where the weed rests on the table. You see how to weed appears to be dissolving. That is the Brethren taking the weed apart to make something out of it. Either they are trying to make some of this powder, or they are trying to make a cupcake. Now please get another quart of that stuff for Charles.

Snowy: making another quart said he can't be through with it that fast. But he was. And so she went to make another quart. Tracy you cannot make a cupcake out of a weed.

Tracy: the Brethren made you out of that stuff you are blending and Charles. Pay attention the next body is being created. Here I'll make the next one. And indeed Charles stomach was getting quite a bit bigger.

The Brethren: try 2 cups of powder with a quart of water.

Snowy: that sounds so weird hearing them like that.

Tracy: you will never hear the Brethren. You perceive their thoughts that they send you. We call this the link. When you have very similar or very diverse thoughts with another person the link can be established by the Brethren.

Narrator: After Kim was born Charles was so tired he went immediately to sleep.

Narrator: Tracy told Kim she was among friends. And told her to get some rest. She would not wake up until the next morning when everyone was there.

Narrator: Carolina asks Snowy would you help me gather some weeds please. And so they gathered a couple arm loads and brought them back.

Narrator: The Brethren ask Tracy to go on another cupcake run.

Tracy: why?

The Brethren: you know how you left off a bunch of us yesterday. Well there are even more of them today. When you give cupcakes to some and not all it creates strong emotions. Which we feed on. There are even more of us there than when you left. Stand at the door and wait for the prisoners to quiet down. Then just give the cupcakes to whoever asks properly. And do most of your walking in the center of the aisle. We will hitch a ride with you. It would look better if you marched. If you let us help you we will make sure you look good and pick up the most of us.

The Brethren: Tracy we want you to appear as though you are little more than a social club. If at all possible you will never appear armed anything more than a ceremonial weapon. Which is why you will practice close order drill. Also you women need to clean out Charles's trailer so you will have places for people to sleep. And see if you can borrow some jumpsuits.

The Brethren: Tracy we have at least 60 more people waiting for a body. We need a lot of help. We have selected you as their leader. And all of them have accepted you as their leader. Are you ready to step up and be the person we need you to be?

Tracy: well if we're going to do this we are going to need some more money. A few more blenders. Food clothing and shelter are going to be big issues. And sanitation would be nice. I would love a hot shower.

The Brethren: well Tracy what would you suggest?

Tracy: is there anyway you can look underneath this building? And if there's a room under it get a picture or several. Charles also has to have money around here somewhere. By the way don't make me dance for the prisoners.

Brethren: I had I had been playing with the prisoner's minds. So I decided to play with Charles mind. I went through and disconnected all the detonators. We found we could discern what was the detonator and either isolate the fuse or the wires. There were a lot of booby trapped boxes. There was a bunker slash Armory. And it had a tunnel that came to within 200 feet of a hotel's parking lot.

Narrator: The hotel had originally been built as a health spa/retreat. It had an Olympic size pool, a gymnasium with three basketball courts, a gymnastics area, an extensive weight and exercise area, a small indoor strip mall, three different restaurants with associated kitchens etc. It even had a license from the Bureau of Indian Affairs and equipment to manufacture its own health food line.

Narrator: Unfortunately it was a long way from it's former glory. But it's structure was solid. We would call it A Safe Place.

Narrator: Tracy was exceptionally precise when delivering the cupcakes. As usual the wimp in the last cell was first to ask for a cupcake and he said thank you. Four prisoners out of 18 who were given cupcakes said thank you. Tracy replied you're welcome and have a good night's sleep. Which all four of them did. On the way out she left a box of cupcakes with the guards and one of them said thank you. Tracy replied you're welcome and enjoy the sugar rush. He was bouncing off the walls all night long. He slept so well he was almost late.

Brethren: Tracy we are sorry next time back the van up as close to the door as you can. We are glad you didn't mess with any of the boxes in that other room. If you had this building would not be here. With the additional numbers of us that you brought back we may have good news for you in the morning. In that room you'll find a roll of money on the floor pick up as many blenders that match that one or if you can find a bigger blender buy as many of those as you can. Come to think of it do both and see if they'll let you order 10 of the larger ones. And buy one fresh cupcake in the morning. We are fairly certain that the one you left us yesterday is stale.
