Chapter 3 Part.1 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Y/n headed outside for fresh air and then to the mess hall for breakfast.
On his plate was something mushy, tough, and definetly didnt look edible.
As he lifted his head from the mush he looked at Jo and Brick who were sitting on the table side near the serving window competitivly eating. Across from them were Zoey and Mike who seemed to be flirting but also look uncomfortable from the looks of it. So, Y/n walked around the table to the only empty spot besides Zoey. As he sat down a fork hit Mike square in the face.
"Darn kids, back then we ate with are hands like decent folk!" Mike was acting older? Sorta like in the last challenge, but that was a gymnastics girl, she seemed energetic.

"I can't read people very well but I know something is going on with Mike" he said, "I just cant figure out why..."

Suddenly a muttant rat started going crazy, everyone then ran out quickly with Mike stumbling behind
"Come on!" Y/n slowed down to take Mike's arm, pulling him up and out of the mess hall. Out of breath, they heard Chris on the megaphone outside "Get your butts to the looming tragedy that is the looming tragedy!"
After a long run Chris announced the challenge "Okay, mutant food, on with the challenge. Part one is an uphill battle. You have to climb all the way up to that cliff" Chris paused "First team to reach the top gets advantage in part two. You can climb with your hands or use anything from that pile to get you up there" said pile had a giant mutant cockroach protecting it. "Big guy's a bit of a hoarder, his "estate" is full of useful crud and disgusting crud. That is- if you can get near it." Chef blew a horn at the top of the cliff "It is on!" Chris cheered
Y/n jogged over to the nearest wall and started to climb, Zoey, Mike, and Cameron had eventually caught up to him and they headed up together.
Y/n reached for the next ledge only to watch it crumble. He slipped but found a hand securing him?
"Watch your step, Y/n right?"
"I'll try, Mike right?"
"Yeah" he smiled and stayed near Y/n to watch over him.

"I really thought I was gonna fall to my death there, I'm so relieved Mike caught me" Y/n sighed. He looked to the ground as thoughts lingered in his head, a blush rose on his cheeks. He covered his face in embarrassment, "Don't look at me like that!" and left the confessional.

They continued to climb up only to find they had lost the first part of the challenge.
