He read through most of the books inside of the library already. His sister and her husband were probably off doing.. something.
Kit chose to sit out at the balcony near the entrance of the Summer Palace and watched as his servants, and a few Storybrooke residents, mingled about. Some were leaving and some were arriving.
However, there were two that caught his interest. It was Clarissa, a fairy who offered him aid in restoring part of his Kingdom, dragging a young woman out of the castle.
By then, no one was around so it wouldn't cause much of a scene. It was the young woman specifically that caught the Prince's eye.
He knew the faces of most, if not all, of his servants. She wasn't one he recognized. It didn't help that she was wearing a cloak.
"Now, go home. I don't want to see you back here for another three days," Clarissa scolded the young woman.
"But—."
"No buts! You've tired yourself out already. Don't make me get the King involved in this," Clarissa threatens. Her tactic seemed to work, the young woman remained quiet and left the palace.
Kit raised a brow and left the balcony. He made sure to walk fast enough to meet Clarissa just as she re-entered the Summer Palace.
"Your Majesty," Clarissa gave him curtsy.
"Who was that woman you were speaking to? The one you kicked out," Kit asks.
"She was a girl from a house I was originally in. She works too hard and doesn't take care of herself," Clarissa replied, "My apologies for not consulting with you in throwing her out."
"No need. I sense you know her well. Is she alright?" Kit says, looking past Clarissa to see if the young woman was still there. To his disappointment, she wasn't.
"She will be if she stops being so stubborn," Clarissa scoffs. Kit gave her a curious look. "Oh, nevermind. I have things to tend to."
Clarissa walked straight down the hall, muttering to herself before turning another corner. Kit turned back to the opened palace door, still curious as to who the woman was.

Ella had no option but to comply with Clarissa's orders. If she had gotten the King involved, and word got out to her stepmother, she would've faced severe punishments.
