𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 sun brightened Kit's face through his bedroom window, prompting the king to stir before finally opening his eyes. He sat himself up against the many pillows on his bed and rubbed his eyes.

Kit looks to his side, hoping to see his queen, but is met with an empty space. He thought nothing of it at first, as Ella almost always woke up earlier than him since her pregnancy progressed. He only grew suspicious when he found her seat at the breakfast table completely empty.

Charming and Snow's seats were also empty. 'She must be with them' he thought to himself. Kit found his sister and brother-in-law in the garden kissing.

He cleared his throat, interrupting their moment.

"Oh! Kit, we didn't see you there," Snow asked, her voice in a high pitch due to the shock. Charming had his hand on her stomach.

Just two months after Kit and Ella's wedding, Snow and Charming announced that they were expecting their second child.

Kit and Ella were happy because Snow's pregnancy would overshadow Ella's. The Gold Fairy casted a powerful glamor spell to conceal Ella's stomach. Only she, Ella, and Kit were able to see it.

Charming's face seemed a bit irritated, peaceful, but irritated. Kit couldn't blame him.

"Have either of you seen Ella?" He asked.

They both shook their heads no. The last they've seen of her was at dinner the night before. Kit thanked them and went back into the castle.

He took the quickest way he knew to the stables. When he reached the inside, he faced another surprise. Ella's horse was gone.

There was only one place he would've thought she went. And he hoped he was proved wrong.

Ella's cloak protected her from the cuts of tree branches as she rode her horse through the forest. She wore a long, light blue gown, with silver accents decorated all around it.

She reached a familiar path and placed a hand to her stomach. "Let's hope your father doesn't get mad at me," Ella sighed to herself.

Despite her husband's wishes, Ella was on her way to her stepmother's house. She only took her horse with her and hoped Kit didn't find where she was.
