In which a girl runs away
from her problems and
family to pursue to dreams

a little girl but drama, exes,
and the chaos of the 118
follows her.
Sylvia strand has always...
𝗦𝘆𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. Starting from the day she was born up until her dad moved out, she had hated her life. Her dad was so absent that she didn't even remember the last time she had a full conversation with him that didn't end with her storming off or him yelling at her. The two fought constantly and the only thing that broke off the yelling match was Gwyn yelling at them for upsetting not only her but Tk. Gwyn and Tk were always more emotional than owen and Sylvia so they got more upset when it came to yelling. That made it so whenever yelling matches broke out in the strand home, Tk would break down and normally end up hiding somewhere in the home. He had never been a fan of yelling and seeing his dad yelling at his twin sister truly just made him even more upset.
The moment Sylvia turned 18, she moved out of the strand home and moved across the country to California. She had always wanted to see Hollywood and Los Angeles so she packed up her things and fled to California. She wasn't sure where she would really go, but she started off by looking for colleges in the area where she could get a degree in something she truly wanted to do. And although it took her entire college career to find that, by graduation, Sylvia had been ready to save lives and become a paramedic. It took her a little longer than expected to actually find a suitable place for her. But once she found the 118, she knew. She knew that she had found her new home and it would be the comfort she had searched for her entire life.
