Sylvia strand has always...
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟭𝟴. The newfound home of Sylvia strand. The girl has spent majority of her life in New York with her parents and twin brother. Although she had always hated it. She never enjoyed living in New York so the moment she turned 18, she fled to California and that was that. She followed in her fathers footsteps and went into the fire department, becoming a paramedic for the Los Angeles fire department. At first, she was just placed in a spot that was needed but eventually was placed at the 118. The 118 became a home for her, a better home than the home she had grown up in. With Bobby Nash taking the girl in and treating her like a daughter, she felt comfortable and at peace. With Henrietta Wilson treating her like a sister, she felt comfortable as a paramedic at the 118. With Chimney Han taking her in and guiding her through life. With Evan Buckley giving her a chance at love and friendship. Everything was falling into place and Sylvia just wished it wouldn't be ruined.

"That's Sylvia Strand, one of the best paramedics I've ever seen,
I met Sylvia when she first got out of the academy and started searching around for a house. From the moment I met her, I could tell she would fit perfectly in the 118. It was just a matter of if she would want to join our firehouse. I don't see why she wouldn't want to join, but I'm not going to assume she would because there have been people before that don't want to join. When I say Sylvia fits in with us at the 118, I mean it. She's basically a golden retriever in human form, sweet and caring, which is a perfect match for our firehouse. She's protective of everyone around her and in action, she doesn't freeze up and get scared. She fits in with Daniella as well, the two being amazing partners. While neither one of them is at our house at the moment, I can guarantee when we get Evan Buckley later this week, we'll also get two new paramedics that are the best paramedics I've ever seen in the field.

"That's Daniella Casey, one of the most selfless and chaotic people I know,
I've known Daniella her entire life, I was best friends with her father before he passed away when she was 9. Her mom fell off the wagon, just like a had at the time. She turned to drugs and alcohol and soon had an overdose, leading to daniella finding her mom before going into foster care. I did everything I could to get custody of the girl, but due to my alcoholism, I wasn't allowed. That's what led to my recovery. I couldn't leave her alone with someone she didn't know. Leave her to think she didn't have anyone that loved her. It took two years but I was finally able to get custody of dani when she was 13. Dani has lived with me for 14 years now, and she's been with me through the good and the bad. She was the only person that stayed by my side after the accident in 2014. She was the one who helped me get better and the one who helped me get to Los Angeles and start over. She was my rock and I really have no idea what I would do without her.

"That's Beau Fletcher, one of the most hardworking people I know,
From the start, I saw his potential and the talent he had. I saw the go get him attitude and the attitude is the big reason on why beau is at the 118 and one of the best firefighters the Los Angeles fire department has ever seen. I like that he is levelheaded and doesn't think he is better than everyone else around him. I truly respect him for thag and it's a big reason on why I see him taking over the firehouse one day. He's talented as is but his personality and dedication are a big factor in why I like him so much. He never turns down a job and is always working hard for what he wants in life. I can tell he respects me as much as I respect him and it truly is an amazing bond we have. I've invited him over for dinner a few times and over the years, I've noticed that we have a lot more in common than I think and I truly hope he can see his own potential in the future so he can rise above and make himself known, make his talent known.

"That's Russell Turner, one of the bravest people I know
Russell works alongside Athena grant at the police department here in Los Angeles and I can't even begin to describe how determined and brave he is for what he does for his job and community. I can tell just by looking at him that he takes his job very seriously, all while having fun and making sure he isn't losing the people he loves most. Russell definitely can get over confident at times, which isn't always a bad thing, but it does cause him to be a bit reckless and crazy. When he gets set on doing the things the way he wants, things can get messy quite quickly and Athena is left to clean it up. Russell is basically Athena's son though, she takes care of him like she does Harry and May and it truly is something special. Russell is an amazing cop though and although we don't talk often, I have high respect for him for keeping athena and the community safe.
