[Y/N] FROWNED, not liking the condescending tone Kaiser had used toward Sae

[Y/N] FROWNED, not liking the condescending tone Kaiser had used toward Sae. The blonde forward liked to instigate things, and though she didn't think Sae was the type to get heated over such matters, she decided to err on the side of caution.

Lifting the midfielder's hand from off her eyes, she was about to intervene before Sae cut her off with a snappy comeback, clearly agitated.

"Why would I, you fucking flounder."

[y/n] had to purse her lips to stop herself from laughing, finding the comparison along with Kaiser's flabbergasted expression to be hilarious. However, upon seeing Ness's visible fuming, she quickly composed herself.

"Sae," she spoke, knowing that if she didn't say anything, Ness would. The [h/c] girl shuffled while trying to escape from his firm hold, her movement causing the auburn haired male to instantaneously drop his gaze toward her.

Immediately his irritation melted to concern as he fretted over whether he'd accidentally grasped onto her too hard during his exchange with Kaiser. Loosening his hold but not letting go, he turned her around to examine, his eyes roaming her body to search for any redness, completely forgetting that anyone else ever existed.

"I'm sorry, did I hurt you?" He asked, freezing when he met her disapproving gaze.

Her disapproval burned him, and his features twisted with hurt to showcase that. It felt like someone had just taken a bite out of his beating heart and set it on fire before his very eyes, the pain so great it made him want to do heinous things.

At that moment, he wanted everyone to get a taste of the overwhelming hurt he was experiencing, to drench the the entire place in gasoline and take a match to the entire thing. Yet at the same time, Sae wanted to drop to his knees and plead until [y/n] would look at him lovingly once more.

Was she mad because he'd said to Kaiser?

The thought made him brew with jealousy, and he decided he'd rather die than let Kaiser receive her sweet favor.  The blonde, undeservingly, had gotten to hog the girl and spend his younger years by her side, something Sae would've killed to experience.

He too wished to witness [y/n] during her awkward phase, her tomboy years and girlish eras — to be the one walking her to class through elementary, middle, and high school.

He wanted to know everything about her: every little habit she'd picked up over the years, her past quirks, her current attributes, her future aspirations.

It peeved Sae greatly that others got to experience a side of [y/n] that he would never get to see except through photos, and Kaiser was no exception. While he and the blonde weren't necessarily on amicable terms before, they definitely weren't now.

Sae would do what he needed to maintain [y/n]'s focus, and if taking Kaiser out of the picture was the answer, then so be it.

The midfielder's spiraling and subsequent silence didn't go unnoticed by [y/n], who'd long forfeited her previous plan for reprimands and was instead staring at him worriedly.
